How does eating pre or during workouts affect how long you can work out without catabolism being a problem?
Is it possible to extend a work-out session by eating in advance or during workout?
If you where to work out for 45min, eat/drink shake with some carbs, and then go back at it with an other muscle group, would this be at a major disadvantage? What / how much would you need to consume?
Thanks

It takes DAYS of being underfed, unfed, and/or overworked for one to lose muscle!
So all that talk about going catabolic after an hour of resistance training is not true? You can just train all you want as long as you are not training to the point of counter-productivity/over-training?
Your cortisol levels will be elevated after your workout and it will but you in a catabolic state. You’re in and out of catabolic states all the time though and the long term net result won’t be muscle loss, the opposite (assuming you’re eating enough through out the day)
Drink a protein shake as it will aid recovery, run a proven program and don’t worry about trying to manipulate your eating to extend your training sessions, it’s waaaaay down the pecking order
