Just wondering , when trying to gain size how do you eat on your rest days, where you don’t do weights.
I workout 4 times a week, 2 upper 2 lower split (similar to ws4sb), on my workout days i try to eat heaps more, what about on my rest days, do i just eat maitanance or do i try to eat the same on everyday, with the excess calories, and heaps of protein?
Eat the same since you need to recover, just cut back on carbs as you don’t need all that energy on an off day. Substitute for slower carbs and more fat and protein.
I would generally agree with RSGZ. Unless you KNOW you can get away with eating the same amount of food or you have a high carb tolerance or high metabolism.
okay thanks guys, just seems wierd stuffing myself with food when im not even doing anything physically demanding.
Ill try eat abit more on off days aswell, i have a fairly high metabolism ive been skinny my whole life, (like really really skinny) now im just really skinny at 5’8 145lb… lols
I agree with Ghost, but my statement would be “I eat like they are running out of healthy food everyday and somebody fucking spiked everything else with cyanide”

I’ve had the same problem! No joke, up until last August I was 5’9 and 145-150. Now I am ~165 with no discernible increase in body fat (maybe even less). I used to eat a lot when I was at 145-150, but I think the biggest difference now is that I have started eating more often. Before I would have two or three huge meals a day. Now I am eating 3 pretty big meals a day with 3 pretty big snacks between each of them. Also, I got a year older and I have a feeling my metabolism is slowing down already
Just hang in there, do the right thing, and you’ll be enormous (relatively) in no time.
