Eating in the morning

I am trying to follow massive eating reloaded. My major question is in the AM I wake up and have a P+F meal and then go running, then have a post work out drink, then an hour later have some smart start with whey and FFCC. The rest of the day is normal meals, but I also lift after work, and it feels like I am eating post work out meals all day. Should I change my meals around any or am I on the right track?

I would run on an empty stomach, then have a post run P+C MEAL. Then, stick to P+F meals until your workout. This would be followed by surge and at least one P+C meal, depending on your goals.

I think the key part of boon…'s post was this statement,
depending on your goals
. Also, personally I wouldnt do the running on an empty stomach, even if cutting. Now some low to moderate intensity fasted state cardio sure, I am a huge fan, but running you are just asking to chew up some LBM.

Also what exactly does eating regular the rest of the day consist of? Apparently P+C mainly.

Really for some greater help it would be nice to get a bit more info. and your current goal with your diet and training.

For an example of what I do. It changes just a bit for cutting and bulking. If cutting I will go P+F up to the my training the Surge and P+C after. But this is just during a major cutting cycle toward the end to get lean. The rest of the time bulking and maintaining, I have a P+C meal prior to training, Surge during and after, then BIG P+C, and finish the day 3P+F. I train in the AM but you could swap this to work anytime really. I simply find that I have better w/o’s if I have P+C prior. Everybody is a bit different though.

I dont know if this will help, kinda just a blanket statement and not directed toward your diet.

Anyway, get us some more info. and I am sure we can help ya out.

i work out first thing in the morning as well. I have one scoop of whey protein (25g) and 1 TBS of virgin coconut oil about 30 mins before workouts. It seems to do the trick for me. MUCH better than going empty on stomach. You have to remember that you spent 8-10hours of fasting which can be extremely catabolic toward the end and you don’t want to make it worse. THAT’S HOW I lost 15 or so lbs of muscle. Everyone thought I looked too skinny (from 175lbs to 160, even to 155 at one point at 5’9". They were used to me at 170-175lbs). I looked more like Brad Pitt from Club Fight movie. I was already lean and muscular to begin with when I started working out in the morning so it was obvious that I lost muscles.
