Eating... I'm Lovin' It!

I’m just asking what are some options to play with in someone’s diet. Not a cut everything out diet, but what are some things people have found useful when putting on size and muscle mass. Thanks a lot!

Seriously?

Have you read any of the forums and articles?

Why would you cut things out of your diet when you’re trying to gain?

Eating more?

You could always throw a dildo in their salad.

Nothing compares to the real thing, big guy. Get that REAL protein.

Wait, what?

I have found it both effective and fun to eat everything I can get my hands on when bulking. If you’re working out hard, you won’t gain much fat.

Some of my favorites are taking down a freschetta pizza with a protein drink, 4 eggs with bacon, pancakes, and hash browns for breakfast, and huge Reese’s peanut butter cup milkshakes with some protein powder thrown in for fun.

I supplement this 5 days of hard lifting per week and a daily 45 minute walk. My metabolism skyrockets. No need to limit anything.

SO not true. I don’t normally care about the claims made by people about dieting, but I don’t want people getting the wrong idea through this.

Not everyone can live by the “just fucking eat” principle.

Yes I have read some of the articles on here, and I’ve written down suggestions, but all I am asking is what has seemed to work best for people, along with eating more to keep up with working-out, and as for cutting things out, I’m just asking if there are things that even though I’m bulking, I should try to avoid none-the-less.

personally, i hate carbs. I try not to go over 200g a day while bulking. Recently, I quit drinking milk and i have not had soda in about 12 years.

all of my main meals have at least 50g of protein and at least 40g of fat and i eat random fat+protein snacks throughout the day. You can cut out all the food you want to as long as you are gaining. And i know for a fact if i eat too many carbs i will pack on a bunch of fat and quickly.

Here’s my 2cents avominion, beef seems to be a mainstay in most bulking diets. If you can handle it, lots of milk is good too. The usual applies, eat bodybuilding friendly food, only lots of it. Hence why so many people say eat more. To simplify, eat alot of protein(more than 1 gram/lb of bodyweight), and get more than enough carbs from mostly complex sources to fuel the body to train hard. Also don’t worry too much about fat just try to avoid the trans fats.

Avoid the crappy goods, kinda goes without saying. But, depending on your metabolism there’s a a fair bit of lee way with that. Do you need to eat absurd amounts of food to gain, or do you need to eat just a bit above maintenance?

I don’t need to eat a lot of food to see some gains, I’ve found I seem to put on weight by adding just above maintenance, however sometimes those gains are not muscle. Thanks a lot, it makes sense what you’re saying about things to avoid, I’ll keep these things in mind when choosing what to eat.
