Eat Your Protein First

I’d read that a simple protein shake was good enough to prompt the correct reaction but also read that carbs pre training were more important than post training so just wanted to make sure i was doing the correct thing.

What is enough to prompt the correct reactions, an apple? Some sweets? and if we have a meal afterwards or before is that enough?

If you’re training for performance or bulking, I definitely recommend taking in fast acting carbs before/during/post training. Just make sure you’re truly training hard, otherwise more carbs when you’re already in a surplus will just lead to unnecessary fat gain.
