Eat, Eat, Eat?

Not sure what you guys are so bent out of shape over.

Anyhoo, I’ll get where I’m headed, and post up what works for me. Gonna try a chocolate milk/protein shake after my arm workouts for now, and see what budges more, arms, or love handles.

cheers, knuckleheads
Did he get butt hurt just now or was that a subtle goodbye?

Wait is he going to do direct arm work? I thought we figured you didnt need direct arm work. Just deads/squats/bench/pullups and 2000cals that should do the job.

make that

2 cups chocolate milk 1% is 340
2 scoops of whey is at the most 270

i think you need more then an extra 610 calories you look like your starving

and train your arms more for crying out loud

Well i am not happy normally happy with my progress but wehn compared to yours i am now happy so thank you. in my first 6months of lifting i went from dead lifting 175 to 355. Squating 135 to 240 (these still suck because of form and lower back).

I still think my progress is slow but thank you for showing me what really slow progress is.
Keep comparing yourself to other people to feel happy then.

Are you going to make fun of mentally challenged people to feel more intelligent as well? Of people missing limbs to feel more agile and dexterous? The possibilities are endless!

Yes because those are the same things.

Not sure if you have heard what sarcasm is but i guess it can be hard to get that across over the internet but my comment was sarcastic.

I prefer to shoot for the “Colemanian Ideal”

It certainly didn’t work…and I’ve read way too many people with that attitude, which I utterly despise.
I apologize for not catching it.

Heheh, I wouldn’t have posted up in this sharktank if I was worried about getting offended. I’ve got some helpful PM’s, and I’ve got my homework to do. Like I say, I’ll figure out what works and post up progress, etc.

Did I miss you posting your picture up somewhere along the way?

Along the lines of the advice already given, I’ll refer you to a recent article here:

“You could not expect to use a Mack truck tire on a Ford or other light car. Neither could you expect to build a 17-inch arm upon a 120-pound body. It’s essential that a bigger body be built, so that bigger arms may be obtained.”

Long story short: Gain bodyweight while training everything, including direct arm work.

How is this thread possible?

That’s awesome…I also found out that this forum can be very blunt but most of these guys know their shit.
