And then, knowing that she supposed to be a role model for our youth chows down on Big Mac’s. I think that is hypocritical.
There you go guys - You know me I can’t let it go By the way I didn’t like Barbara Bush either, so this transcends partisanship. Frankly, I’m not that fond of the role that is handed first lady’s in general. But that’s another argument.

Yes, you know I have to agree. She is not a hypocrite when it comes to eating junk food because she didn’t say never have it. Fair enough.
I’ll go another route instead.
Let’s look at the definition of hypocrite: “A feigning to be what one is not.”
I submit to you that Michelle Obama is NOT a good role model (as she is claiming to be)
for our children when it comes to avoiding junk food.
On the one hand she says things like this:
“We are our children’s best, first and often only role models,” she says. “Kids are looking to us to be examples. They watch everything we do…”
And then, knowing that she supposed to be a role model for our youth chows down on Big Mac’s. I think that is hypocritical.

I think the message of moderation is a good one where many make fast food and garbage processed food dietary staples. Maybe if Michelle Obama exercised a little LESS moderation and a little MORE discipline, she’d look better. But she looks better and is probably a lot healthier than a lot of the target audience. A target audience that would do well to exercise some moderation and eat mostly good food most of the time.
Did I miss the last Bush First Lady’s spread in Playboy? Are people really on First Lady Obama this much that they will act like she is obese as if she needs to look like a fitness model to talk about eating healthy? People avoid this forum because of bullshit like this. If people want to discuss real issues, let’s do that.
This crap just shows how many morons use this forum as cover.

You must be new here.
The only rule you must follow here is that if it’s about Obama and his family, they are ruining America.

I disagree, Obama’s family is not ruining America. In fact, the man has a very nice family. However Obama is trying to ruin America.
This is just two examples especially the second one. If you read it read all of it. All I am trying to say is if you feel so strongly that you need govt regulation you should live your convictions. The main point here is that she says we as a population make bad choices, so now big brother has to set some new rules, all while she is enjoying the very thing she tells us not to.

Would you take work out advice from a 6 ft 120lb nerd? Of course not, then why should some one who has a butt big enough to play football on give us healthy eating advice.

Threads like this are pathetic.
But then, I guess Super-T is what you get when real debate dies.
For some reason all you do is hate, yet you pop up in all my threads. Like I asked before if they are so pathetic, why are you here? You see that I started the thread, but read it anyway. The one who kills debate is you, because all you is post crap like this. If you want to debate then debate I am willing to listen to all sides and even admitt if I am wrong. So yes it is perfictly fine for her to eat a hamburger when ever she wants, but she says that they are so bad that the govt has to regulate how it it marketed to us. Try to look at the bigger picture.

of course, like most who have no argument for what they say. Either insult or refuse to talk.
Actually he has written loads of excellent posts on this thread. He’s given up because you clearly are unable to respond to them in an intelligent way.
Your arrogance and political attacks actually remind me of Rainjack except he was highly intelligent and very funny. You are like Rainjack if he had a labotomy. Whatever happened to that guy anyway?

I posted in that Atheism thread about these “debates” getting too pedantic. But this really is off the scale. This might very well be the most pedantic thing posted on the internet ever.

True. Rainjack did have the ability to critically think and reason. And apply logic. This guy is like Elizabeth Hasselbeck if she had a few concussions too many.

Yes, we can do that when you get a real job and move out of your parents home.

The moment you fall back to age cracks or ranting about liberal college professors, it’s pretty much a given that people wills top listening to you.

Wow, time does fly because I remember you telling me just a couple of years ago that you were in college and living with your mom and dad. Remember? You were telling me how daddy paid for your school and that you’d never had a real job? Yeah, that was maybe 2 or 3 years ago. But now suddenly you’re a big time lawyer. Wow, well good for you junior. Still living with the folks or have you actually made enough by the age of 28 to be out on your own now? Can’t tell you might be doing all those pro bono cases for the people that just can’t seem to rise up against the man.
This is fun we should talk more often - You’re such a big boy now I hardly recognize you.
