“Spring Joined Prolate Ellipsoid/Oblate Ellipsoid Hunt” doesn’t have the right cache though does it?
I had a cadbury egg white omlette this morning.
It’s healthy.

Actually a very good point!
And does this school talk about the statues on “Spring Island” too?

I can’t stand them. They put me in mind of chocolate covered abortion.[/quote]
LOL! I’m with you on that…that liquid stuff? Almost kind of like the secret sauce, what IS it?
I’m in Taiwan and work in an English school and we had some Easter Egg thing last week, so i just asked my boss (from Taiwan) if she’s OK with “Easter eggs” or should we have renamed them.
She gave me an odd look, then asked me what I was talking about, so I rephrased it so she could fully understand and she looked at me funny and asked “That’s what they’re called though right?!??”
Couple years back in Australia they officially changed the name of a penguin species from ‘fairy’ to ‘little’ penguins.
Something about offending gay people - but one might argue that it only acknowledged the term ‘fairy’ being a suitable slur against them homos.
Political correctness fail.

That was the funniest shit I’ve seen in a long time.
This is very silly. Let 'em call their eggs whatever they want. On top of that spring spheres just sounds fucking stupid.
Wow. I posted this article to facebook with an additional comment about the U.S’s pathetic school system. Boy that started a controversy. Sorry but you are a dumb-ass if you think otherwise.

that should be Pagan Spring Joined Prolate Ellipsoid/Oblate Ellipsoid Hunt. everyone knows that eggs are a symbol of fertility in many old and some modern interpretations of so called Pagan religions. by even allowing the children to hunt anything vaugely egg-shaped the school is supporting “Heathen Devil Worshippers”

Ridiculous! I hear next season the NHL is going to change from having “playoffs” to “‘Let’s try our best!’ - Series of Final games with sportsmanlike camaraderie and fairplay”*

Yes, along with a voucher for one free day at “Colonel McSnuggles Unicorn Petting Zoo”
agree with the political correctness fail about renaming the fairy penguins.
what about fairy’s. you know, the magical critters. perhaps we should rename them, too?
lolz about eggs not being spherical.
i find it really very funny indeed how people think the pagan orgy symbols (fucking like rabbits, eggs) are christian.
i do have some empathy for the idea of keeping a separation between government policy and the religious choices of the people, though. in the sense of thinking that it isn’t very fair that government official holidays falling in line with some religious holidays and not others. not sure what can be done about this… maybe have individuals nominate their chosen stat days for the year??? don’t know.
easter eggs… that is indeed what they are called. heh.
'tis autumn here as well.
cadbury creme eggs are delicious. peanut butter cups = yuk! i think it might be a sugar vs corn syrup thing…
creme eggs used to be bigger than they are now, i swear…
My school no longer serves beef or allows beef to be brought within the campus.
Sad
Anyway a friend of mine told me they now give medals to everyone in competitions in parts of the US, some schools here actually do that now though.
