They’re talking about it affecting Long Island (NY) around Thursday night, so we’re keeping an eye to see if/when it takes a turn.
We’ve got the usual supplies on hand in the hurricane bag. I’ll probably go out tomorrow and fill up an extra 5-gallon container with gas to have on hand. Lesson learned from Hurricane Sandy, I don’t want to deal with gas lines and the high drama they bring.
We covered “bug-out bags” in this thread a while back in the Combat forum. Not a bad idea to give it a quick read and see what you might want to implement.
