Thanks guys! As I said, I’m not doing much of anything this week. My job offers enough cardio for now. I’m going nuts though, I’m feeling healed and ready to lift, but I’ll hold off till this weekend.

Back at it today, pretty sore still from the meet. Strange, I wasn’t sore at all after the Spring meet.

Spent the rest of the session reviewing video from the meet. Lots of room for improvement, I think I’m going to start training Sumo deadlift.

Good to see you back at it the Monday following the meet. That is what this ‘game’ is all about.

Sumo DL is a very different experience. If you can break the weight off the ground, you will most likely get the lift using the sumo stance. Make sure to work on all different stances in your training.

What are these, DZ?

I always wonder how they keep the weight room running as little use as it seems to get the times I make it. On the plus side, I like to be able to get to machines without waiting and to use the weights and dumb bells without anyone in the way.

I don’t usually mind too much either E, 'cept when I’m benching and need a spotter. There was something I neglected to mention. While I was doing my shrugs this guy came in, had the wierd sleeve like things on his arms. He walked straight over to the squat rack and started doing full body swing curls in the damned rack. I was floored. I’ve read all about these kind of guys but I’d never actually seen it before. This fella, who I’d never seen before, proceeded to do nothing but curls in front of the mirrors the entire time he was there. He was about 35-40 years old, and didn’t look like he’d ever touched weights before. Anyway, I wasn’t completely alone today. :slight_smile:
