walk into my dads restaurant
new manager loudly says “WHOA! so how long have you been juicin?” bunch of customers look over and an older lady gives me a dirty look
wasnt sure whether i should hit the guy or thank him for the “compliment” but then i went in the back and ate like a 20 oz veal chop and felt much better - lol
Him: what sort of supplements do you take?
me: umm, you know, omega 3 fish oils daily, some vitamin D here and there along with calcium to make sure my bones are getting enough
him: oh, so you’re a real natural vitamins kind of guy
me: yeah, if I’m trying to lose a couple pounds I’ll use a protein supplement instead of getting all my protein from food
him: why would YOU try to lose fat? you’re so jacked already
I had to laugh
there’s this chain supplement store called Popeyes, don’t know if they have it in the states or not
there was this fire at the apartment I was living in splitting rent with a buddy, some friends came over and buddy went out with them, I stayed back at the apartment because I didn’t feel like going out, so I call him to let him know there was a fire, they all decide to come back to see the damages I guess
one of my buddies: so how much whey did you manage to save?
me: laugh
other buddy: yeah, we were talking about how funny you must have looked, running down the stairwell with a tub of Popeyes under each arm
not only do I not shop at Popeyes, I don’t think I even had any whey at the time either but it made me laugh

Nope, I’m not that big. That’s why I need to get bigger. But do you have a picture somewhere? Or perhaps I’m still retarded and can’t find it, I went full retard finding it.
“Big” is kind of relative. I used to have ppl ask me if I was on steroids when I was only 180 lbs.
I leaned out a bit recently and look a lot bigger and like I actually train with weights.
We got new form fitting shirts at work so I look big in them, tight on the arms, show the taper etc. So I get a good amount of compliments and lifting questions from co-workers and customers.
I’ve made a few new friends recently just from guys coming up to me to bull shit about training.
I get more recognition from my brothers that lift than regular people which is cool. We have something in common so we discuss training and what not. It’s a respect the iron brings. I always find that most guys who lift show me more respect than your average guy and I give them more respect because we all know the dedication that it takes to be big and strong. Not that I care about some elite status in the gym, we have some guys in their that will put most regular lifters to shame and I am not at that level yet, but your group of friends in the gym grows the bigger and better you get. You get some more respect and I like it.

My freind’s four year old was sort of starting at me when I stopped by her house after UBWO… I guess I had a little pump going or something. I flashed him a front double bi and he VERY ADORABLY stared at me and said “WOW!”

Bro, it’s the same with ANYTHING you are truly passionate about.
If you love cars, the only people who can appreciate your…appreciation, are fellow car lovers.
If you love to lift, you want to be around others who also lift.
If you study hard, you want to be around others who study hard.
If you got HUSTLE, you’ll find yourself mostly respecting others who can show the same hustle.
That’s why I crack up when I hear people get into relationships where they think the other person will eventually “come around” and start lifting with them. How can your SO appreciate your dedication and passion if they don’t do the same fucking thing?

I’ve read the last few pages of guys saying that people have accused them of using steroids, only to click on photos and see: “No Photos Uploaded”
This sort of stuff needs pics.
Nards, wishing people would accuse him.
As many times as someone has asked if I train or made a comment about my size, I’ve yet to receive a steroid accusation. Maybe if I delete my avatar and photos and drop down to a buck-sixty people will start calling me a juice-head.

Dude, I just checked your photos, um, are you on roids???
But seriously, yeah, you look big ( 237lbs)and you’re right…I don’t think people are getting accused of steroids that much. Some ol’ bullshiat.

How old are both you guys? It seems like younger guys throw out the steroid card more often imo.

I’ll be 35 in 6 weeks. You might be right but some adults act that way too. I remember arguing with a dentist over whether Tiger Woods looked like he was on steroids. He was 100% serious that Tiger Woods was taking them.
But really, I’m betting most of the guys that say they are getting accused of juice are in highschool. Kids in highschool see a guy walkin down the hall with a bicep vein poppin out and think he must be-a-juicin. (For the most part)
Yall are right though, most of them don’t break 170. In a few years when theyre in the real world, they’ll stop getting those comments.
Well you’re not wrong that in high school kids will accuse most muscular guys of juicin’ but when you’re 5’9" 201 lbs most kids wont believe that you aren’t if at 18 you look like that. It’s mostly because only a few high schools work hard enough and smart enough to attain results, while the others go to the gym to socialize or do other activities.

Happens to me in college, but I’m guessing once I’m done it will stop for the most part.
