Loss of teeth has always been one of my fears since I was a boy. This has manifested itself in recurring dreams where my teeth and gums are so soft, I can push them out with my tongue.

Good thing my teeth are strong and healthy in real life.

wow, like 5 guys have the teeth thing besides me.

Apparently the only thing high testosterone meat heads fear is their teeth coming out.
I had one dream where I lost a few teeth, WTF!

There are actually a ton (tonne for Euros) of people that experience dreams of lossing teeth. It usually means your going through a life altering experience and lossing some of your youthful innocence.

And for those that don;t want to click

"Dreams about losing our teeth symbolize the loss of childhood innocence. These dreams often occur at times of transition from one life stage to the next and can be a message that an important milestone is occurring and urging you to face the inevitable. Your dream may be a message that an important milestone is occurring and urging you to face the inevitable.

We need our teeth to feed our bodies. Eating is necessary to maintain the body’s growth, energy and health. In this context, losing teeth may be associated with insecurity about your livelihood. Perhaps you are stuck in a “dead-end” job and fear for your future. Perhaps you are growing older and are becoming anxious about how much time you have left to work and make an income. You may be getting “long in the tooth” and fear losing your sexual attractiveness. Dreaming of false teeth symbolizes concern about your self-image. We all must deal with the process of growing older. Find fun ways to re-invent yourself incorporating all the wisdom and experience that you have gained."

Holy Fuck.

I have something similar all the time when I use melatonin/zma

Ill be doing something and my teeth get “loose”, if I dont touch them nothing happens, but I just cant stop wiggling them.

Eventually I end up pulling my teeth out one by one.

Its infuriating and freaky as hell, in the dream I want to stop so bad, I just cant.
Holy fuckin balls.
I take melatonin sometimes too, but I never thought it would caused fucked up dreams.
I looked up the teeth thing a while ago. I read that it means you don’t like the way you look, but that’s retarded, cuz I stopped giving a shit what I look like a while ago lol.

Ah errrr Dreaming about makin love to a hot blonde I know after which I woke up knowing:

 1. She’s far away
 2. She probably forgot about me
 3. why the hell I was dreaming about that if I know that probably no 2) is a fact?
Been in the same situation recently, ONLY difference = brunette instead of blonde.

Worst part is those few hours it takes after waking up to shake off that nasty feeling and get back to how you normally feel.

Weird…I like the way I look.

I think the whole “transition” thing is a more likely explanation.

I just started a career.

Thanks to that plantar wart thread I dreamed last night I was digging warts out of my feet. When I woke up I thought I had actually woken up in the middle of the night and done it, and was surprised to see that my feet were normal. Where the heck are the awesome ZMA dreams I’m supposed to be having? I can’t believe I’m bumping this thread for my pathetic story.

On the loss-of-innocence topic, when I was young I had nightly dreams that I could fly. As I got older, it got harder and harder to fly, and eventually I could only get a few feet off the ground. When I was about 18 I stopped being able to fly altogether.

i could never fly, and only run fast if i used all 4 limbs. otherwise it was like running waist deep in water.

after i started lifting though i somehow can do insane feats of strength, and can fight in my dreams, before my punches just never had any power behind them like i had mono or something.

now in my dreams, my punches are like CRACK super strong

Eh had this dream where I was 26 and was uber qualified. Had a good job etc

Then I looked at others and everyone started to talk about his girl, their loving parents, their family. Everyone seemed happy.

On of those persons (which in my dream was one of my friends) asked me ‘how long have you been with your woman?’ I bluntly said ‘I have no one’. Then suddenly realized I have no one to love and had lived life only to get qualifications, and didn’t live but actually exist.

I didn’t wake up in the dream, but the day after I was depressed. Sad shit.

did you go microwave a bagel to have sex with then?

Ummm…that works? Damn, wish I knew that when I was 14. Could have prevented that nasty repetitive use injury.

I’ve had the teeth crumbling thing, myself. It’s like they were made of thin pieces of ice.

Maybe you grind your teeth at night. Many people do without knowing unless their spouse hears it while sleeping.
I have no doubt that I do. I’ve woken up a number of times with my teeth clenched.
