Drake Deadlifting

I will also state that before watching the OP’s video I had no idea that Drake lifts weights. Obviously we don’t know how serious he is (we can’t just make a judgement from the video alone because the ‘negative’ indication from the lack of correct execution is balanced by the ‘positive’ indication he is deadlifting in the first place) but I’ve noticed that generally when celebrities get into fitness they usually get results.

Nelly and Dr. Dre both had phases where they completely transformed their physiques (the media obviously ate it up) and looked impressive. Both of those guys have since regressed, Dre much more significantly.

Drake the type of nigga that’ll look at a barbell and say, “I’ll never lock you out.”
Your killing me loll

Nelly, Dr. Dre, and 50 Cent look like they’ve put in some good gym time. My personal favorite though is Busta Rhymes.

Yea who gives a fuck that Drake has poor deadlift form.

I don’t think many people care about his form but I think people can appreciate the comedic value of the meme, at least the people who know who Drake is and what he’s all about.
Why? He’s a talented performer, he’s got more money than you or I will ever even dream of, he’s banging celebrity broads… you think his deadlift is his first concern? Or that some dude on a website thinks he “knows what he’s all about?”

Meanwhile you’re sitting home on a computer posting vids on a lifting forum going “LOOK AT DIS GUY!!!11 LoolZzzz!!” like he’s the one with mixed up priorities.

I don’t mean to be harsh but this sort of attitude is what makes the “Do-you-even-lift-brah-ers” look so exceedingly ridiculous.

This is why I never come out of the combat forum.
rofl, why are you so angry? You are making a lot of assumptions and a lot of them are wrong so I’m going to assume that you’re emo. good luck with that

You made this thread hoping everyone would jump on your “let’s all piss on the successful rapper because secretly I am just jealous of his wealth and popularity” bandwagon. His form isn’t perfect, but it is far from terrible, and at least he’s making an effort. Maybe this video could have some positive influence given his celebrity status. This might be the GAL forum, but you probably wouldn’t be using this website if you didn’t have an interest in weightlifting/bodybuilding/health etc., which, ultimately, is what the site and it’s authors are trying to promote.
No, I didn’t make this thread so everyone could jump on some hate fest, I made the thread because the meme made me bust out laughing. I wanted to share that moment.

I posted the video for reference to the meme, but I get that ‘Clown’ got a lot of people heated. Protect your idols

LOL who gives a fuck if Drake has money and is popular. Only superficial Americans glorify wealth and popularity as something more important and envious than happiness, inner wealth or social contribution.

When I say Drake is a soft and annoying music personality I’m saying that because I think his music sucks and share in the general public sentiment about him (read: Drake is a pussy memes), not because I’m “jealous.”
this sentiment exactly.

Only Superficial Americans Glorify Wealth and Popularity more than happiness, inner wealth and social contribution?

No other countries peoples glorify this? No other countries have superficial elements or idolize people in the entertainment industry or envy those who have tons of cash and popularity…bullshit. This is a fault of humanity not Mericans…

I’ve lived in three different countries, two of them in europe and now america,

while what you say is true, by your own proclamations, EVERYTHING in america is BIGGER and BADDER. America is #1, remember?

So yeah, americans are definitely the worst offenders.

Every country in the world emulates or wants to be a part of their pop culture. It’s a fact besides those crazy ideological fucks who think it is bad. Even osama consumed american culture. Hypocrite asshole. I would think that capitalism started in europe and was perfected by mericans.

I have met Canadians who are more materialistic than Americans I know so it depends on the person and their culture and area they lived in. Political climate and up bringing social circles ect. Intelligence too.

He just needs BW squats while wearing his headphones. Those things are huge.

My own proclamations? Im assuming you think every American thinks America is bigger and badder? Not me, for the most part I believe educated Americans knows our faults as a people on a whole, it seems as if people from other countries love to generalize the ugly American stereotype just to propagate their own hatred of this country, this false belief just bolsters their feeling.
