While on vacation Solo and I took some pretty neat nature pictures. I thought it would be interesting to see what kind of cool nature shots you guys may have taken.
Anyone else take any cool nature pictures this summer? Please share.
Please refer to the “piece of Ass of the year” thread for all the good “nature” pics.
LOL… My first thought was the same as Gary’s but since he already said it, I guess I’ll just put up some things I’ve taken around the neighborhood.

Great sunset pics! I took this one off the lake in Burlington, VT.
Jolly: I’m near Southwest Plaza.
Jaster: Thanks… Cute critter ya got there. Sunsets and sunrises are amazing when you’re on the water - the entire sky seems like it’s on fire.
Sunset at Havasu.

Allow me to relate my cool dragonfly story:
Driving truck on the farm last summer. Going through the field, minding my own business. I look back in the rear view mirror and see something I cannot immediately identify. Low and behold it is a dragonfly. Alone, that is not that interesting. However, this dragonfly had another dragonfly in it’s clutches, obviously getting ready to eat it. Again, not terribly interesting. What was interesting is that the second dragonfly had, itself, a massive bumblebee in it’s jaws. Along comes the other dragonfly, snatches them both up, and eats them. Mind you, these weren’t regular weanie dragonflies like the picture here, but massive looking ones. Like a cross between an Apache helicopter and a timberwolf.
Anyway, that was my dragonfly story. Thanks for indulging me.
