Has anyone here bought this saga on DVD? Id like to buy a good version and get the saga as a whole (or individual seasons if I have to).
I got ripped off trying to buy season one a few years ago and havent tried since. So if anyone has had luck with it, please help me out.
i refuse to buy any ive found, just because the packages are just so freaking small. I did buy the manga series simply because it was all grouped up and only 100$, as opposed to 8$ a book for 26 books.

Never really got into manga to be honest, but I do have a few and that’s a damn good price.
Pretty much if I go through a random site I run the risk of getting fucked over, but if I go through wal-mart I still have that problem, and it’s almost $20 a season. Decisions decisions.

I liked the Manga and i hated it. They played off chracters and their traits a lot better than the anime. but as you would guess, the fights just cant compare to the anime lol.
And yea i feel you. I actually found my box manga set in a rinky dink Anime store. Only reason i picked it up was cuz of the price. And hey, it is endless, rereadable bathroom entertainment! Id totally pick up the entire series on Dvd if i could find a deal along the same lines. I remember back when VHS was the only thing, and the series was like still running, i have like 40 VHS of the series lol…no vhs player anymore tho.
Not that I’m a proponent of breaking copyright laws but you can download the entire DB, DBZ, DBZ GT, and all the movies online…
They have the DBZ series broken down by seasons at most DVD retailers. I’ve got seasons 1-5 so far. They go thru each and every episode to eact saga. Just food for thought.

lol, I hated the anime because of how they did the fights. 5 minutes of actual fighting ended up stretching across 5-10 episodes, the frieza battle for example.

I bought all of the episodes, tv specials, and movies on ebay in vcd format (plays on a computer with windows media player) for $20. Try looking that up!

All of that doesnt matter when you see fights like Goku Vs cell. That was an awesome fight and the pinnacle of DBZ in my eyes. It is worth all the added time.
Plus, with DBZ kai out now, you’re getting the best of both worlds. Just gotta wait for them to finish that series.

Agreed. I havent seen the cell series in a few years and I still remember how epic that battle was.

Yea I was looking around and saw that. Unfortunatly my computer is pretty slow, and I don’t have the right java script or somthing like that.

It’s been up for the last few years now.
hmm might have to check out that DBZ Kai… esp if it takes out the 100 episodes of goku powering up to fight a boss for 5 min
