Coach hat on…review the angle of your arms, elbows to wrist on the video…you are at a slight angle backwards…best position for power and safety, straight up and down from elbow to wrist and try not to bend those wrist backwards, bar should rest in hands, bottom of palm near thumbs, not mid palm (if that makes sense). Shortest distance is straight down and straight up.

lil, any tips for not bending your wrists back? I do it too, I am aware of it, but I can’t seem to stop. Grip training?

Tight wrist wraps that go up a little on the back of your hand, but not covering your palm, and conciously “point” your wrists straight, just as if you were to punch someone.

Awesome bench! I hate high reps and holding an arch its hard work!

Frenchie is flexible. (Nothing left to say that hasn’t been said by all your other followers).

as Ink mentioned, wrap tight and high on back of hand…pretty example from Joey here:

I have some wrist wraps if you want to borrow them for the meet.

Not surprisingly, USAPL has rules regarding wraps . . .

Beautiful bench form, Frenchy. 50% of the buttocks have to remain on the bench. In other words, no daylight can be seen.
