I appreciate that. Honestly, I felt the same way but its only 10 days.
She said her endocrinologist will give me a new dose.

In 10 days your levels will be in the physiological range, I can almost guarantee it. Stop for the 10 days, you’ll be at TRT levels way faster. It’s the right call from her.
I appreciate that. Thank you.
Ten days should not be an issue, but you may not be in physiological range in ten days. The half life of Test E is 4.5 days, so that would put you at about 1200 - slightly supra.
My blood work indicates the HL is 7 days, as does various studies
Not sure where the 4.5 day rhetoric (from steroid plotter) came about from.
OP needs to drop the dose if he cares about life. Wonder how high his HCT is.
I do love life. Thank you for your reply. I am going to check that level and post back.
% HCT, AUTO
Your value
47.1 %
Standard range
37.5 - 52.0 %
I remember when he used to claim ‘natty’ lol
thank you again to all the contributors on my post! i have an update from my doctor and would love some feedback. obviously i am going to follow her advice, she seems concerned and on the ball, however, i value your input and worst case scenario maybe another newbie can learn from this thread.
01/06/22 UPDATE FROM DR:
*The endocrinologist messaged me earlier today. She did not have any other treatment recommendations other than discontinuing your shots. *
*Once the adverse effects on the rest of your body have resolved (can take up to 3 months), we will then be able to determine how much testosterone you are able to make on your own and act accordingly. *
I am concerned with “possible” adverse effects of over-supplementation on your pituitary-thyroid axis. There are orders in the computer to repeat another hormone-related labs in 4 weeks.
Oh come on.
50 year old that has been on exogenous test for 3 years.
Just stick to TRT imo.
Try something like 85mg per week and titrate up or down as per bloodwork.
It sounds like an awful path she is sending you down to see to what extent your body can recover.
Edit: I would also get the levels retested on the 250mg protocol. Is your lab reliable etc? I would definitely get a 2nd test done to confirm the initial results.
I felt this way too
Everything has been done at kaiser so i assume labs are solid.
I agree and think she is being a doctor. That is why i came to you all. Just some feedback i can ponder over.
I would hate to just stop for up to 3 months and besides i already stopped cold turkey august 9th 2021 to november 9th 2021 because i was stuck in cambodia with no gear.
So in reality i just started 2 months ago 250mg per week
I have no clue what it would do to your bloodwork, but I feel standard PCT protocol would be best here. I agree that you should get bloods drawn in 4 weeks, and that you want those values to be accurate for health purposes, but also that stopping cold turkey with no protocol is setting you up for failure. I don’t believe your Dr knows a thing about testosterone.
Input from someone with more experience in this field than myself would be much valued.
It’s a little concerning that us dumb meatheads are better at this than the doctors seem to be.
Right. But, we are in the gym, outdoors and in the kitchen a lot more than most doctors. We are on the front lines.
There’s your issue. Never seen a more TRT-adverse provider than Kaiser
Just a few thoughts. Your test seems abnormally high for your dosage (hence the retest suggestions). Quitting cold turkey for three months to restart is a bad idea. Standard PCT protocol, or dropping your dose would be better, depending on your goals (PCT for restart, dropping dose to get to physiological levels if you plan on cruising).
I can understand that with advice from doctor, but, do you really think the labs are wrong?
