Christian,
First off, I just want to say thanks for sharing your knowledge and feedback that you give everyone. I know you wrote about Double Stimulation training back in 2014 and your ideas and philosophies have changed since then so I was curious as to how you feel about that type of training today? I have a setup in my basement and I planned on incorporating the double stimulation principles to my workout but using a push/pull split as opposed to push/pull/legs. I only have a rack, incline bench, and bars in my basement so planned on doing the heavy work in my basement, then go to Planet Fitness to do the mTor and myo-rep workouts. My question is how do you feel about doing this on a 6 day split as shown below:
Day 1-heavy push day-SSB Squat/BTN Press
Day 2- push mTor and myo-rep-Quads/Shoulders
Day 3-heavy pull-Dead Row/Curls
Day 4-pull mTor and myo-rep-Rhomboids/Bis
Day 5-Heavy Push-Zercher/Incline
Day 6-push mTor and myo-rep-Quads/Chest
Day 7-off
Day 8-Heavy Pull-RDL/Chins
Day 9-pull mtor and myo-reps-hams/lats
Day 10-repeat
The heavy day would just be 1 all out set of 8-12 reps, increasing weight after I get 12 reps.
mtor/myo-reps for hams/lats would be like db rdl with mTor and leg curl with myo-reps, db pullover with mTor and straight arm pulldown with myo-reps.
Is this something you might recommend a trainee?
Would I be better off doing this as a 4 on/1 off style workout? Or even 2 on/1 off?
