Thanks for posting the video!
OMG that guy is fucking AWESOME!!! WOW
I was actually wondering if you had seen it yet (since you requested it earlier in this thread). That was part of the reason for putting it up here. Besides the fact that it is BAD ASS.
No I had not seen it till you posted it. All those video sites are block at work =(.
I was forced to watch Captain kirk repeatly beat the lizard…lol
Hey…isn’t a video of a man beating the lizard forbidden also?
It shouldn’t be called white v black though. It should be called terrible fighter v decent fighter.
That was a pathetic fight. If you get your shirt pulled over your head, you can’t lay there and try to hide inside of it, wtf? I’d much rather see a fight where 2 guys are bracing against each other with one hand and trading punches with the other. Toe to toe, rather than on the ground and all slippy slappy. Those are rare though.

That fight was a perfect example of how fucked up the world is. It was sad and pathetic.

Am I the only one who thinks that maybe that was completely accidental? I dont think he meant to hit her at all…
Yes, you may be the only one. The timing, the accuracy, the force, It’d be a hell of a coincidence if that was accidental… right time, right place right hieght etc, etc.

I thought that the first time I watched. Then if you look again, the dude who connects to the chick glances over his left shoulder as they get close, then makes the swing.

Like one of the posters said, its about how crazy and aggressive you are willing to be.
I disagree. The one who can keep his cool and react accordingly is usually the one who wins. IF some fool is swinging wildly, he can get sidestepped and have an elbow put to his temple, or wrapped up and choked out. The jumpsuit guy wasn’t going crazy, he just put up a relentless assault. He even used proper footwork.

Very true. I shouldn’t say crazy…that does imply lack of control. But, someone who is willing to draw blood on the drop of a dime. Many people say they know how to fight, but would hesitate and weigh out the consequences in their head. Throwing a single punch can lead down a very dangerous path. In a place like Atlanta or Detroit…that could result in a hail of gun fire.
As for the Captain Kirk video…that wasn’t staged. I hear that happens all the time in eastern Europe. You’re walking along and a lizard man tries to rob you out of nowhere!

In the wrong situation, waiting to get hit first can be your end. What this guy did was defend his girl but he had to attack two men. If he reacted late, two against one are pretty shitty odds. I would do the same.
After your condescenting comments in the Mike Boyle thread (“[Boyle] seems alright. Looks a bit paranoid about injuries though.”), I thought you were a total douchebag. This post confirmed my initial impression!
I avoid fights. If I bump into someone by accident, I fall over myself apologizing. But touch my wife and you’re done.
Any man who have acted differently than the guy in the workout suit is not a man.

It’s hard to tell personally. I’m not all that worried about that, but unless that hit was harder than it looked, the dude in the jumpsuit in an asshole.
Was the boxer “crazy and aggressive”? No. He was focused and in control. If one of those thugs had been “crazy and aggressive,” the boxer still would have won.
I do agree that most martial arts are bogus when it comes to real fights. (I have a black belt in TKD and have been in well over 50 fights, so I outta know.) If you want to be able to defend yourself out on the street, learn how to box. Period.
On the flip side, don’t think that your untrained ass is going to be able to surived a fight just because you’re “crazy and aggressive.” Thinking that is just as lame as thinking that because you have a black belt in some martial art, that you’re actually a bad ass.
Of course, an HA buddy of mine who has no formal training could still kick my well-trained ass. But, then again, he knows what he’s doing – he just learned differently than most. ;^)
Moral of the story… There are two: If you haven’t been in several fights, quit fantasizing about how your “crazy and aggressive” self would defeat a trained fighter. Likely, you’d have cotton mouth within ten seconds, and would be shaking so much you’d lose control of your limbs.
Second, a highly-ranked martial artist who has never fought won’t do shit in a street fight but get himself hurt.
Believe that!

I know a lot of guys who have taken years of martial arts training and wouldn’t know what to do in a street fight or a true assault. It’s a different world outside of the classroom. Like one of the posters said, its about how crazy and aggressive you are willing to be.
This video is awesome. A while back there was a debate over what martial art someone should take if he wanted to be able to take out a couple of thus. Of course, there are two answers: Jiu jitsu and boxing. Though, as the video shows, boxing is definately superior when there are multiple attackers.

I want to shake the hand of the kid in the black and yellow jumpsuit.
I’d say that Muai Thai kick-boxing would probably be the best. I boxed for a while and have been in more than a few fights. In highschool I thought I was a hard ass, cuz I won all the fights I got in until I fought some guy who knew muai thai.
I thought I could outbox him no problem until he threw a kick that caught me on the side of my knee and dropped me like a bag of bricks. I’m glad it happened though it made me alot more humble person and showed me that no matter how well you can fight there’s always someone bigger and badder.
Can’t wait 'til my overseas tour is over so I can go back home and learn Muai thai.
Second. If not fake, that guy beat the shit out of those guys for accidentally hitting his girl? WTF?
I know you guys have gone over the video thoroughly and spotted the look over the shoulder and the que from the other guy. Bullshit. That reaction was completely inappropriate and would landed him in jail.
I’m an overly aggressive hot-head. I would have been in that guys face cussing him out, but throwing punches? Hell no. And none of you guys would have either. Especially California law. CL, you’re a complete fake.
