I am feeling unmotivated to got ride horses at the barn. Like I have no goal.
Some how I am thinking of getting a mountain bike. We have some very nice trails near by and we have our private trails too.
My bf kind of think that he could do that too. So we could do it together. There a few store s with good sale at the moment so we could get full sus bike for a good price. I mostly rode hard tail or no sus bike in trails without helmet. That gives my age.
But my banged up body may like a softer ride.
The bf gives me a hard no for a dirt bike, so that would be a fair compromise.
Bike are amazing. Absolutely go full suspension, you lose some efficiency, but gain so much comfort. Loss of efficiency keeps the cardio up anyway.

Kids, late teens early 20ās, at work like to talk gym with me at times. They are pretty funny as they are super focus on PR max. So they got to ask I much I ldeadlift. At 260lb max it is not much but not far off of them, until they ask how much I weigh. Yes they are brave enough to ask me how much I weigh and how old I am. Then, they hate me, in a good way. Most of them are well over 200lb and lift around 3 plates. I am 155lb and just as old as their mom.

162 should have been 1 rep but it felt really good and solid so 3 it was.
We get our biked saturday. I got 2 bikes and all the basic stuff. As my stuff is kind of lost. I got all that for less then the cost of a good dressage saddle. My bf is a bit nervous. But we can use the indoor arena to teach him the basic stuff. His bike never left the ground not even a wheelie. So hiding inside on soft ground will be safe to start him.

Congrats on the bikes! My brother bought one last winter and loves it. What did you get?
I got PB a Giant Stance and for a better fit and a shit colour I got a Liv Embolen with is the same as the stance but the seat post csn go lower and it is a tad shorter so I can move around better.
I already managed to fall feom a near stand still. I for got I was on low gear and steped on.
Still working on getting a bunny hop and a manual.
So 30 minutes of pump track was a lot of fun.
Deadlift work out not so much, some thing pinched in my lower back hip. So that was short.
Chiro is already scheduled for monday. So I will just take a few extra days off.
Monday,
What ever I pinched in my back still hurt. I was wrong chiro is next week, but will try to have a go this week.
I think I may take a proper week deload and rest it.
Tuesday,
I could not get out of bed that easily this morning.
I got a quick Dr appoint and an x-ray.
Managed to see my physio. He did look at the x ray and they look pretty good. He did torture me some. He still does not approve of heavy lifting.
I may swap deadlift for trap for some time when I get back to the gym.
Friday
Moving better but still sore and I can feel a wobble in my lower back.
I get to see my super physio again this afternoon.
I am trying to go with out anti inflammation meds, for today.
I may be out for longer then I want to.
Hope you get it sorted out soon!
Monday,
Feeling much better. Getting up is a lot less complicated.
I am pretty much pain free until I try to do anything other then walking. Twisting, bending, lifting is very touchy.
Nothing wrong with just walking for a week or three and allowing yourself to fully heal and recover.
