Nap 3 hrs in the after noon. I am turning into a couch potato.
The boy friend still refuse to go to the gym with my truck. Any trick to get the rust proofing smell out.

Bike 10 minutes still slow
OHP 10 x 30lb, 10 x 40lb, 10 x 50lb, 3x 50, 3 x 60, 5 x 65
Decline db press 3 x 10 35lb
Dip 3 x 5
Single leg press (the pin select one) 3 x 10 x 100lb per leg
Squat 10 x 45lb, 2 x 10 x 65lb
RDL 3 x 10 x 95lb
Ball crunch 3 x 15

Sunday is rest day with some physio stuff

Foam rolling and accidently roll on the plat. That hurt!
Single leg extension, single leg curl, kick back
Banded side way walk

No gym but had to go shopping. I can’t were jeans as my scar get very sore from the rubbing.

I felt old and slow, had to take way too many rest break. I am normally the fast one, today every one was faster then me. I could not keep up with my mom.

Now I will soak in a warm tub to relax those sore muscles

3 More needles in the calf, my physio is enjoying that way too much. One point really hurt. If I can walk I will crawl down stairs and do some upper body work.

Feeling much better then yesterday. Ok my leg feel mushy.
Home gym, no power at the gym thanks to the wind
I tripped over my leg as the wind proved to be challenging walking outside

Deadlift warm up to 8 x 110
working set 3 x 110, 3 x 125, 6 x 140 (my leg can’t handle more)

Skull crusher 3 x 10 x 30lb (my db feel much heavier then those at the gym)
Hip trust 2 x 5 x 125lb, 10 x 125lb (the knee was ok with that)
Leg curl 2 x 10 x 35lb, 10 x 45lb
Wood chopper 3 x 15 x 50lb

Now the power is flickering so run (or just walk as fast as I can) for the shower

Strangest job interview ever and chiro treatment

He worked on my ankle and now my leg is on fire, the pain is bad. Coffee with an Advil chaser.
I can say that this is turning the hardest thing I had to go thru physically and mentally ever or I am getting old for real.

Sunday night
The scar is not happy so the 10 minutes of bike was unpleasant and slow
Squats 10 x 45lb, 10 x 65lb, 3 x 75lb, 3 x 90lb, 8 x 100lb I was favoring my right leg on the last rep. I use a bench to limit my ROM to the degree the physio want me to use

Front squat 3 x 10 65lb, 2 x 10 x 75lb
T bar row 2 x 10 x 50lb, 9 x 50lb
Wide grip pull down 3 x 10 x 90lb
Leg extension 3 x 10 x 45lb
Ab crunch 3 x 10 x 30lb

Leg curl and kick back are still difficult

I stepped in a small hole and I land hard and my knee is very upset about that.
Tried some rehab work but nope. I had to bring the horses in because I could not get any help today. It take me twice as long as I use to, the horses get impatient and the mud is not helping.

I hope to be good enough for upper body work by tomorrow.
Advil is my friend for now.

I’m just catching up with your log and saw the leg x-ray. That had to HURT! No wonder you’re still dealing with pain. You’re 4-5 months out from your accident?

I’m sooo impressed. It takes some courage to lift again.

Physio day!
I hate needles but they are amazing in the result departement.
2 needles in the hamstring. Instant better contraction😊
And 1 in the glutes :no_mouth: it did hurt a lot less then any other needles so far. Expecting a longer one next time

Hey, just caught up! I gotta say, you are hardcore…bad injury and still lifting while having pain…wow! Good luck with your recovery. Will be following.

What kind of needles? Dry needling in the tight/trigger points?

yes in tight and trigger points.
I can bend my knee at 50% before any discomfort and I have some strength. All worth the unpleasant needle torture

I had 6 needles in my neck two weeks ago. After that she put 4 in each quad right above my knee.

It sounds like you got off easy with only 3!

I don’t know, the turning and moving of the needle hurt like hell. Maybe because the muscles are not just tired/sore from a hard workout but more like sleeping and not firing normally.

I wanted to punch the physio at one point as he laugh as I squealed a bit but then remembered that he use to work some local CFL guys

So first rehab work after the needle stuff. I did a bit less.
My muscles move better and I have less pain in the muscle. The knee is taking a bit more of a beating so the ROM is a bit shorten for now

I had to go out so I did a nice short more or less 500m walk and that was it for me in one shot with the dog. Still far from the hour long walk in the wood with Lucifer. He is very good on the treadmill.
