Nice! Is that a custom build, or an off the shelf kit?
Texted my friend who owns many guns and had sold guns before Clinton stopped those without a store front from selling guns. He said:
“It’s one of America’s best loved semiautomatic .22 cal rifles. Comes in a myriad of configurations. It uses a reliable 10 round rotary magazine but higher capacity magazines are available. Lots of aftermarket parts and accessories too. Solid value. “
I think that kit comes from High Tower Armory, which seems to get the best reviews. I haven’t pulled the trigger on getting one yet though. (See what I did there?)
Arctic gray for the win.
I’ve got a 10/22 takedown with the Magpul Backpacker stock and an unfulfilled list of further modifications, like an optic and a suppressor.

F that. I dont want this to become a political thread because i enjoy just “talking shop” about guns, but thats Fudd stuff.
Nice!
It’s been a long time since I read Charles Askins book, so I may have forgotten the details. But as I recall, when he was in the border patrol getting into gunfights at least once a week, his father, a famous gun writer, fixed him up a Remington model 11 with a 22” barrel and an extended magazine that held 8 rounds. Because most of his gunfighting was at night he tied a piece of white ribbon around the end of his barrel to sight by.
Askins was a complete psychopath, but he knew his guns. If I ever scored a Remington model 11, I’d fix up an Askins special.
My grandfather-in-law hooked me up with an early birthday gift:
An old Mark1 that’s apparently never been fired. I’ll be changing that this weekend. It’s in pretty excellent shape aside from a tiny bit of surface rust in the roll marks. I’ll need to go source a few more magazines for it, hoping Cabelas has a few in stock.
I love it!
My uncle has one, it is a tack driver.
And that’s the first handgun I ever shot. Later bought a stainless Mark III with a bull barrel. Total tack driver.
File this one under “Why the hell did I ever sell that?!”
My J-Frame Collection. Not really a collection as they’re all shooters, and I don’t own anything that I don’t shoot and doesn’t serve a purpose.
I have bought multiple 442 SW J Frames. Great gun for backup, pocket, or purses.
At this point you probably owning more firearms than some small african armies
Easily lol.
Anyone have any experience with the Walther PDP? Been looking at it for a few weeks now, seems like a solid performer but i have yet to get my hands on one to try out.
I’ve put a couple hundred rounds through one.
Ran without issue. I just have never been a fan of Walthers and how they feel in my hand. This one was no exception.
