H&K complete!
I dig it.
Reminds me of my father. Heād always buy the best tools and beat the piss out of them. You wouldnāt believe how many snap-on wrenches, sockets and ratchets I found that he had cut, bent and welded to use one time for some job he was doing. At the end of the day, itās a tool.
100% agreed
My Dads birthday came up recently and heās a gun fanatic. My brother and I were trying to figure out what to get him, but he has mostly what he wants. Heās always talked about the time he shot a machine gun, which was a Mac-10 about 20 years ago. So I found a semi local place called Machine Gun America. It was super expensive but well worth it. We all got to pick for different full automatics. The experience was quick, but a joy. My favorite was the MP5. I would love to have one, but my semi auto CZ Scorpion will have to do.
I looked into doing something similar last time I was in Vegas but simply could not accept the cost for like 90 seconds of shooting haha.
Itās truly expensive. I paid $750 for each of us to pick 4 ; my brother, father, and I. It was slightly more pricey than the basic package as I upgraded my fathers package to allowing some unique gun choices. As you can imagine, on full auto, you run through the ammo in no time. I believe we shot for 20mins and were there for 45 mins max. Not something I would do often, but it was a good gift he appreciated.
Totally get that. Something I hope to do some day, but for where Iām at in life, thatās a case each of 9 and 556, and either multiple outings or a full ass day of slinging it.
I have a couple MP5s. Very fun guns. Stupiddd expensive to buy now - an actual select fire lower. The roller system is amazingly smooth.
Major jealousy my way.
They are running $50Kish currently, which is nuts.
for 1? Yikes.
Iāll stick with my .22LR lever gun for plinking.
The closest I am ever getting to one of those is a call of duty game.
Yes, for 1.
I wasnāt aware they were that pricey either although im not surprised. If you had asked me yesterday I would have guessed half that which is still a big nut.
They have been steadily going up over the past handful of years. When I bought mine, they were in the low 20ās.
You can get a HK SP5, which is the semi-auto only version for $3,000 - $3,800 or so.
Thatās an improvement, but you overestimate my firearm budget. lol.
You can get a Century clone for around $1,000. They bought all of HKās old tooling, so it is about as close as it gets. Parts interchangeable etc.
