My DHT is always low normal around 52. I will like to increase it, I’m afraid to use Anastrazole for the comments of TRT “experts”. My current protocol is 60mg test cyp EOD, my libido and erections are the worst ever. My SHBG is usually between 37 to 57, I felted better when I was on twice a week injections. Anyways, does Anastrazole increase DHT?
A full lab panel would help to identify your problem. Whats is your current E2 level? Cyp doesn’t need to be injected EOD unless you have low low SHBG. I wouldn’t use the AI, it’s likely to do more harm to your libido than good unless you have sky high E2. You would need something like masteron or a DHT derivative to make any significant progress.

Test creams are known to increase DHT a bunch.
Was the DHT after injections or before? Mine before was ~20 (range was like 25-120), and now on 150 mg/wk libido is strong (maybe a bit too much, TBH).
Correct me if I’m wrong, because I don’t use or know much about test creams, but more test - more DHT. This guys already on test injections so whether you use the cream or injectable on a low T guy his DHT is going to go up.
That is true, more test leads to more DHT, but the same amount of test in a cream is thought to increase DHT more than through injection.
It seems men that start on cream and have bad hair loss are often switched to injection.
I’m not sure expert, but I’ve read that conversion of free T to DHT depends… The person might have more of the aromatase enzyme, therefore would be predisposed to convert excess free T to E2 in greater queries quantities than converting excess free T to DHT… In a person like this, increased T could likely lead to an increase in E2.
But honestly, I don’t have any studies to back that up, so it could be unproven opinion.
It should lead to increase in both. However, the ratio may not be favorable to you in either situation (high DHT conversion, or high e2 conversion), or it might work out.

I’ve used it in attempt to lower SHBG. Didn’t notice anything at 50mg/day. Its mild.
What is your protocol?
My DHT is never high, neither my E2. Is probably because my SHBG is between 35 to 58.
