Hahah, she told me I could bring home a girl for my birthday last year. I never did, because despite how cool she is about this stuff, she’s also fiercely protective of me and I think it’s more of a nice fantasy for her to have than anything, but I still count it as points towards coolness. I am lucky, but I also made it a point to marry someone who was a bit of a freak, like myself. As such, we both reap the benefits, but we both have to deal with some crazy from time to time.
I’d say that’s just her testing you! I’d be the one telling HER to bring home a girl. ![]()

Yeah, last night was supposed to be goblet squats but my lower back was fried after work, and the rings were right there. I did diamond pushups day 2 instead of dips because the dip station is across the gym from the kettlebells. If you do 5 days a week, one day is supposed to be just swings, and I haven’t decided if I’m gonna do goblets or just swings yet.
I appreciate you dropping in, man! My form isn’t 100% yet but once you learn the proper hinge and snap, it’s more like cardio/conditioning. Still sucks though.
When you’re at the bottom of a swing, are your forearms against your hips and/or groin?
It’s hard to think about the bottom of the motion since it’s so fast, but yeah, I think that’s where they are.
