I’d imagine you don’t really know precisely where maintenance is yet. That will take some time to really figure out if you just finished losing a ton of weight. It’s also more of a window than a point
I lost an average of 1.6lbs a week on 2,000 calories. I’m assuming my maintenance is around 2750? Calculators suggest 2500.
Nice! That’s a good starting point. Metabolism is somewhat elastic, though; as you eat more you’ll likely move more without being aware of it. That’s where I say maintenance is something of a range. Sounds like you’ve got a pretty solid ballpark, though. Then just adjust small amounts from there. Don’t get too hung up on calculators; we’ve all definitely seen folks that think they are the truth even though objective reality (their own rate of gain/ loss) shows them it’s not. They’re good just to get you started somewhere, which it looks like you already realize since you estimated a 10% delta for yourself from what the calculator says.
FWIW the video I posted above goes into pretty concise detail about how to dial in maintenance calories, because finding your maintenance ‘window’ is a bit tricky - as @TrainForPain pointed out.
Your calculated maintenance is probably around 2750 as you’ve alluded to, but it may need some fine-tuning as calculations are a bit lacking at times. Nothing to worry about though - it is part of the process and one that will help you understand what your body needs =)
