I do, but it’s because I lift at a “weekend warrior” gym.
Most soccer moms don’t warm up with 135 on the bench.
If I went to a gym filled with actual lifters, I probably wouldn’t think twice about leaving a plate on either side of the bar.[/quote]
My gym has 3 guys that bench over 500 raw. And they all warm up with the bar first.
If you’re going to go to the trouble of taking the rest of the plates off, why stop with one left? It’s lazy.
I rack racks…
I always put back my weights except if it is a machine that most poeple use a lot of weight on. For instance… I’m not going to strip all 10 or 12 plates off the leg press since anybody who can’t leg press at least 1 plate isn’t likely to use it anyhow. Same thing with the HS ROW.

I’m really curious about the dude who doesn’t believe those pictures are me…if I were going to pretend that I were someone else, I would have chosen someone hotter than I am…nothing like having a guy tell you over and over you’re ugly.

yup. plus at my gym there are signs all over the place yelling at you to re rack all weights. there’s no excuse for leaving 135 on.

I wouldn’t worry about him or his e-drama. Really no reason to care.
I mean everyone on the interwebz is a doctor or business owner who drives a 50,000 car, is 6’0" 225lbs at 6% BF and fights in the UFC. And everyone around here has a 8,000 pound Deadlift.
I try to always put my weight away. I recall one time I was doing leg presses with about 10 plates on each side, well this gym citizen started putting my weight away while I was getting a drink. I had 20 plates on the machine, I was pretty pissed. I realize he thought he was doing a good thing, but it still pissed me off.

your going to be popular around here…
yup, she seems super knowledgable
I’ve been lifting for a long time…

I’m praying missmg1976 is a woman and not a troll. One can always hope right?
If you are indeed the sexy fox in your avatar, I thank you for joining T-Nation.
As for unracking, I always do except for leg press. I am constantly tempted to leave my DL unracked though. I HATE when the barbell is lying on the ground and you have to strip all those plates off after destroying your lower bacl, not fun.

True, it’s just kind of irritating when someone rips apart your pictures AND says they aren’t you. These are all me…and I probably look different all the time. Facebook

haha good.
God don’t you just love having to constantly confirm the fact that you are indeed a woman and that is you in your pictures? Haha.
Well at least you know that when people think you are too good looking to be real, you are doing something right. I wouldn’t worry about what the jb guy was saying.

LOL somebody just got about a bazillion friend requests.
Depends on the environment. It’s up to the staff to keep a relatively clean place. Everywhere you go there are going to people that leave weights out, if you have a staff that’s consistently putting them back and informing members they should do the same then I make sure to put mine back.
However, I’m not going to be the ONLY person putting my weights back. Like one gym I went to NOOOOBBBOODDDY put their weights back, I put a band at a different pile of bands than I got it from and the Trainer tried to say something to me… I basically told him to go “fuck himself”.
The hack squat and leg press machines in my gym are generally left with 400lbs of weight on them. Anyone who is going to use a leg press will be over 400lbs anyway.

Thank you! I’m a little sensitive to the comments, because the other week in the gym, some guy told me to “stop lifting” in the gym…because I “look like a mini arnold…” wft??? I’m pretty sure I don’t???
