Do You Have Leftover T in Vial?

I tried searching but couldn’t find anything on this. I’ve been prescribed 1mL vials (200mg) of T cypionate. I have been injecting 0.25mL E3.5 days sub-q. I finally reached the fourth dose in each vial and noticed quite a bit of leftover T in the vial. Is this normal? Do they do this so that you can withdraw the correct amount since if it was exactly 1mL it might be hard to get out the remaining T on your last dose? Are you guys throwing away the remainder? Thanks.

It’s normal. They put in a tad more. Yeah I throw it out. Its not enough to do anything

These vials are overfilled by 1ml otherwise extracting the last bit of T would be challenging, also the extra T leftover is to account for the waste when using syringes that have a dead space between the barrel and the tip of the needle.

If you use insulin syringes, then you will have more T leftover because you are not wasting medicine.

When I know there’s about one dose left in the vial, I just take off the top and back fill the syringe. No more wasted T

Ah okay, makes sense. Yes I use an insulin syringe. Thank you for the replies!
