I would think any magnesium absorbed through the skin would be negligible.
I don’t know what effect the magnesium would have, but the heat from a sauna could increase your catecholamines which could increase glycolysis and glycogenolysis. Would this effect matter in the real world if it indeed exists? Probably not.
Glycogen stores and glycogen replenishment are overrated for most weight trainers.
Make sure you drink plenty of water while in the sauna, it does make you lose water.
I was figuring OP was planning to use a sauna/epsom salt bath to drop weight for a competition, and was worried and in dropping the water, he would also drop glycogen and that would affect strength.
