Do Not Consume If Nursing or Pregnant

This could, quite possibly, be a really retarded question. But i’m asking it anyway.

I was browsing TMUSCLE’s store because I want to pick up a bottle of Superfood. Under the nutrition facts there is a warning I’m used to seeing on most supplements: Warning, do not consume if you are nursing or pregnant.

Now, I can understand getting jacked up on fat burners might cause low birth weight or defects, but Superfood is just a crapload of antioxidants, vitamins, and polyphenols. So what’s the problem? Is it too much of a good thing? Would it cause some sort of defect?

Or is it just a requirement of the FDA to slap this sticker on things that fall under performance supplements?

It’s a standard requirement for all supplements.

but would consuming this while pregnant make a woman spawn some sort of horrific tentacle baby? because i am not down with that.

Pregnant and nursing women are obviously more susceptible to many substances and we don’t feel comfortable recommending any high potency product to them until there is ample research to show that it isn’t hazardous the them or their children.

awesome, thanks guys.

Right, without research, it’s just not worth the risk from their perspective. They have to advise women not to take any supplement. I can guarantee my wife will be taking fish oil and super food when she’s pregnant.

What about pregnant or nursing men?

No problem apparently.

I would like a yes or no answer to this. 'Cause that tentacle baby thing is giving me good ideas.

Congratulations, your child has a future as the antagonist in Japanese Horror flicks (and other questionable movies).
