Guys I saw someone on another board asking that arimidex looses effectiveness when you cut the pills up. Most pills are 1mg so I usually divide mine in half…
any truth to this like does it affect the way it works by breaking the pill?

I imagine that what may happen when you divide pills is that, if the active ingredient is not uniformly distributed through the pill, you may not get equal doses in each of the pieces. I don’t know if that’s the case or not. That’s not the same as losing effectiveness, of course.
You might try using liquid adex, which makes it easy to measure small doses.
I’m on HRT and take 1/2 an adex every other day. I haven’t noticed any difference from cutting them in half. I agree with Rational Gaze that the active ingredients may not be evenly distributed but with the half life of adex and you should be taking it regularly, it shouldn’t make a difference in the long run.
