So ordered Arimidex and for some reason it came in capsules with filler. My plan was to run .5 mg EOD to control some gyno/itching on the nips but the whole capsule contains 1mg of Arimidex/filler. Anyone ever split the powder in half? Since it has filler Im pretty sure the dosage will be off.
OR…just take 1mg of Arimidex per week (every monday for example) and then monitor.
You should be able to half the powder. Or preferably weigh it with a mg scale. Eye balling might have to do. Maybe create a uniform line(with the powder) and cut in half with a card. Put in torn tissue, and parachute it.

If it was me, and I was set on using them, I’d dissolve the entire contents of the capsule in ethanol (I’d probably use Vodka), then dose it with a syringe.
The filler will settle at the bottom, while the adex will dissolve. You could remove the filler sitting at the bottom if it bothers you.
Just make sure you remember how many capsules you add, and how much ethanol you use so you know what your concentration is (mg/mL). I only need a bit of adex when using a lot of Test, so I’d probably make mine at 0.25 mg/mL.
Thank you. I went ahead and got me some gel caps from amazon. I did however take .5 mg of that stuff under my tongue. Crap. I wouldn’t suggest it but read on one of the forums where someone tried that. It was not a pleasant taste.
Definitely best of dissolving it in alcohol. I was under the impression it was insoluble.
