Dig Through the Ditches

MiMsykins!!! Did you see the article from today? All about fixing knee pain. I was reading it and thinking about you (and myself of course)

of topic but --um! I just scanned 3 pages…and no Beautiful Betty pics! WAHHH!

:{ BOOOO!

Yea, warm water protein shakes are damn near vomit inducing.

Incidentally, forgot to comment on Busch - lovely park. Did you ride Griffon?
Food there is pretty good but then you get stuff like this… How to turn nature’s bounty into something totally unhealthy. Yay America!

America FUCK YEAH!!!

umm…hello? “How to turn nature’s bounty into something totally unhealthy” is kinda our MO. I mean, why be content with regular sugar when you can have corn syrup?! Cheese and crackers? I don’t sink so!! Try Cheetos.

Was also thinking about you with the knee article and ALSO ponder why you have to walk backwards on the treadmill…sigh. My heart goes out to you my sweet MiMkins!

Anyways - training looks good as always! Nice stuff mama.

Upscale- fake it til I make it…
Energy? HA…actually I just woke from a nap. So drowsy tired feeling today. Had PT this morning and it only made me hurt :frowning:

Cal- we stayed away from those goodies!

Hey JOE! yes, it was very very vomit-y. :frowning:

Brute!!! lol…awww, I’ll see what I can do.

Hey Greg and Maschy!
I took a look at the article, yes. The glute work makes the most sense for my situation and I’m on it! So I can’t squat. There’s lot of other things I can find and get good at!
I also learned in PT today that I have very tight IT bands. Of course I do, cause I never stretch em! My ROM of motion with the stretch was a JOKE.

I was told that the backwards treadmill walking was just a way to warm up.

almost bedtime. I have my Endocrinologist appt tomorrow. Hoping she’s not a douche.

Come play

Well my appointment this morning went exactly how I DID NOT want it to go.

I’m just weeding through the assholes is all. The right Dr is out there, gotta be.

whats with these one way thinking pricks? I didn’t even bother asking questions because she pissed me off within a minute of her entering the room. I just rolled my eyes and zoned out waiting for her to excuse me to live my normal life.

Oh, I’m ‘normal,’ because my lab values are ‘normal.’ EVEN IF I am fatigued all the time.

whaaaaat?
Deal with it. Second time I’ve heard that in less than a month. What’s WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE??!!

Sorry MiM. I wish I had some way to help you.

:frowning:

maybe walk my Primary care provider through what I think is going on.
She is patient and willing to listen. Even if it means I have to drive to a far away pharmacy to get the appropriate meds to start on. That is if she is willing. She may not be comfortable with taking that leap I don’t know.
But I don’t think I am going to find any good endos in this state. I’m 2 for 2 so far. The rest of them are a days drive away. I feel like my life is just slipping by.

:frowning:

if you lookin for some good endo I got a dime in my car…

juuust throwin it out thur

Sorry to hear that - you are not having the best of luck. British doctors are no better - they treat symptoms but never look for causes and you have to nag them to get any joy.

So sorry MiM! You know how I feel about most doctors and their apparent lack of any kind of decent bedside manner. Its not like you are expecting miracles from them, you just want to be heard, and treated like an individual that needs help. It makes you wonder why they went through all the trouble of becoming a doctor. But something will come up for you.

I’m sorry too :frowning:

Blows.

If, by any chance, you do need to come up here to NYC let me know - I can help you find a place to stay. Heck you can bring your whole family and stay at my place while I’m away!

ya, BOOOOO.

Well, I started off yesterday by joining a yahoo group for Maryland thyroid peeps. Maybe that will help to get a little more insight.
I also wrote and asked my Doc for some follow up labs, STAT.

If you have time you can read through this link. I think it’s what is going on. my rt3 level is at the upper range, while my T3 level is at the bottom. I just have to find someone to agree with that theory, and I’m good!

Keep Digging.

Good luck mim. Sorry to hear about your appt. So, she didn’t change your meds at all? GOsh, I hope you find a good doc soon.

Is there a possibility you have more than the thryoid thing going on–chronic fatigue, depression, fibromyalgia?

Have you called around to compounding pharmacies yet? Call one and ask which doctors prescribe slow release T3.

My doc knows about RT3 - it was the first thing she tested me for - but I don’t know how long of a drive it would be for you.
