mimz! You still comin to see me in a spandex onesie next weekend?
nice tattooey!!! its getting very bright and colorful! ![]()
I’m with masch…ebbs and flows…in the mean time why not get more pretty on your arm? :)!
You know, you could get the whole sleeve! Nice colours. And yeah, diesel arms.
I vote for sleeve too. Does the arm have a story?
x2 on roll, roll baby roll!
Brute!!!
you know, I wasn’t even planning on getting color. Just shades of gray type deal. But the hubby was like ‘duh! there flowers!!!’ LOL…
I 'll get it finished when we go back home in the Summer. Can’t beat the deal, $200 for 4 hours!!!
Cal, thanks! Just a half sleeve is enough, I think…gotta keep it professional, just in case.
Maschy- I’m flattered you think so highly of me! I think the various issues I’m dealing with are kinda forcing me to think like that in a way. I know what that special phrase means. I was trying to be fresh, lol.
Nadia- We all go through stuff for a reason. I’ve definitely been through the ringer in the last couple years. Hopefully it’s for some greater good. My wish is to just get better with age…kinda wanted to be ‘young,’ enough to enjoy it though.
Ct- thanks darlin. I spose I’m not wasting away with my lack of training lately.
Scj- I really want to! But I haven’t had the guts to mention it to the hubby just yet.
‘Hey, honey. I want to drive nearly two hours away to see a guy I met on the internet lift some heavy stuff while wearing spandex, ok?’
I’ll know for SURE middle of next week if it’s a go. He might be flying. He has a flight tomorrow so who knows.

The butterfly was my first. Just old enough to get it done without much thought. I was 18 and on my own so the butterfly represented my ‘freedom.’
The celtic knot is a heart within a heart. Done after I had my babies. Not much thought was given as to where it was placed though.
The flowers represent my hubby, son and daughter. Birth month flowers ![]()
The plan was to get my own on the back of my shoulder.
I also have a Dragonfly on the inside of my arm that needs attention. I’ll try to get a pic of him. But he means to me, awe inspiring and POWERFUL!!
I will fill in the rest of the space with leaves and stems and stuff like that. It was also recommended to add some more celtic-y/tribal stuff so it all flows.
I have a whole other arm to work on too…TWO half sleeves!
And I already have a back piece picked out for when I’ve “earned my wings!” ![]()
yes, I need to roll. I haven’t done anything like that in forever.
Bad Betty.
Hi Bad Betty.
Just keep rolling (no pun intended) with the challenges. There is no other choice, really. And you have proven that you are up to it.

Haha, sounds good. Can just stop by for a few lifts if you want, no need to see the whole thing. Couple other tnationers will be there too.
Thanks Git!
yep, no choice. Keep on keepin on. It’s taking awhile but I’ll get there. Preferably before I’m 80.
SC-
‘stop by?’
lol
I’ll be there if I can! Even if I have to bring my rug rats if the hubby is flying. It’ll give us somethin to do! ![]()
lovely colors on the tat - and that is one nice deal too!
Thanks! I think they look better in person.
I’ll try to get a better pic though.
Just did 10 min biking
20 min pilates
lotsa good stretches for the back. And I haven’t been working my abs and sitting more than usual. That could be contributing to the back stiffness. Need to remedy that.
Bout to go roll around some, hehe.
ALso, I had an ephiphany of what it is I should have/would like to be working towards. What it is I want to be when I grow up…or what I should have done. It’s never too late!
A Registered Dietitian!
Just kinda wonder if the ship hasn’t sailed on that one. It makes sense and it FITS! I’ve always been interested in science and medically stuff. Always knew I wanted to work in the medical field, but I didn’t know how or WHAT.
I wrote on FB about always remembering the science project my mom helped me with when I was 8 years old. An egg in a glass of coke that was supposed to demonstrate what happens when we eat/drink too much sugar ![]()
I was fascinated.
mimsy! you can sign up for our pull up team! have you tried chin ups instead? those count too!
also for me, I narrowed my grip…a lot and it helps! I’m not ashamed! they are pull up enough for me! come be on our team!!
Sign me up!!!
What do I have to do?
The only experience I have with pull ups/chin ups are with the assisted machines but not consistently…and before i took my small break from the gym I was dabbling with bands, which I really loved.
Its never too late for anything, MiMsy! Do it.
Nice work on the bike and pilates. Just got back from pilates myself
I love it. I feel like it strightens me out. My muscles are so bulky, ya know? This gets me feeling all long and tall…
Hope you’re having a great day!
I know it’s never too late. But I don’t think the timing is right.
We’re in debt with the degree I do have and if the hubby goes to school to become an airline pilot that’s another debt. PLUS! They don’t make all that much in the beginning and I would DEFINITELY need a job of some sort.
May not be my dream job(I don’t even know what that is!) But I should be able to pull something together with what I already have. Sports management degree, PT cert…and I’m thinking of going through a program that would be paid for by some military people for Pharmacy Tech.
And I might save my pennies to get Nutrition Certified.
We couldn’t afford for me to go back to school for a lengthy technical program. Mama needs a jobby job skill NOW, so I can be prepared to get to work when we move next year.
Betty seriously iz upset you are not rolling stretching and dynamic activating… this not okay you!!!
Not.ok.
