Different Way of Ingesting Supp

Latley I cant stand drinking a full glass of BCAA’s, so ive been putting a teaspoon in my mouth and chasing it with water. I just recentley started doing this w/ creatine and protein shakes to, is their anything wrong with doing this? Im figuring its ok, as long as it gets in the body.

Nothing wrong with this method. Any reason why your doing this with protein?

Correct me if im wrong, but ive heard that taking protein w/ milk after an workout is bad, because of the slow digestion.

So ive been taking it with water, and drinking a big cup of that shit just tastes awful. Its made me puke twice.

Thats what I’ve always heard too. However, I’ve seen conflicting research to back that up. Milk, although it digests slowly, is very insuligenic. Also, 80% of milk protein is casein, which is slower digesting and supposedly “BAD” PWO. However, I’ve seen research that shows a mixture of both whey and casein protein PWO may be better than just Whey alone. The conclusion to this all? If you like to drink milk, have no problem tolerating it and it fits into your diet (macro wise), then have it. As long as your overall nutrition is where it should be, little trival things like this (causing you to not enjoy ur PWO shake) may not matter.
