I have been using HOT-ROX Extreme for a week now, not long enough to see results. But I’m wondering about my Kcal load. Im 6’0 about 190 lbs a guestimate 12% body fat, and on weight training days I have been eating 2900-3000 cals and on off days 2700-2800. I do about 10 - 15 minutes of short sprints right when i wake up 4x per week. This week i have bumpt he kcal slightly up to 3200 on weight training days and 2900-3000 on run only days, cause I felt it was not enough (my workouts seemed to be suffering before, and now they seem a little better). The extra cals come following my 6pm workouts.
Are either of my calorie totals aligned with weight loss, or am i just spinning my wheels? I don’t want to under eat and risk muscle loss, but the primary goals is obviously fat loss. Any help would be appreciated.

Hmm, I think you need to pick a goal and trust the supplements to do their job.
In particular, HOT-ROX let’s you do a calorie deficit while helping to retain your muscle. You can also use dietary strategies to reduce muscle loss.[/quote]
Thanks Vroom but I think I wasn’t being specific enough. My goal is fat loss and my specific question was “Am I overeating, undereating, or is it just about right?” A guestimate of course. Berardi’s calculator (for my stats) for fat loss is like 3400 I think, but I don’t think I workout enough to turn that many kcal out. I think 3200 with sprints in the morning and a pm workout is reasonable for fat loss, but am looking for second opinions. Psychologically, I always attribute hunger pangs for muscle loss. Maybe I’m just crazy? (I’ll take a 2nd opionion for that too) Can you add to that?

I’m not trying to give you a hard time, but if you aren’t losing fat, then your intake isn’t less than your output.
Of course, if you are losing fat but not weight, then you are golden, so don’t change things as long as that lasts.

I hear ya. I think I need to wait a couple more weeks to see if its too many. I think I drop them back a couple hundred though. That helped. Thanks
