Exactly. It shows he is missing the absolute basics…and yeah, it is a little worrisome that someone actually thought a calculator could spit out the exact amount of calories you should eat as if your activity levels or genetics have nothing to do with it.

I actually think more people like this should actually avoid the internet for a while until they can learn the absolute minimum about how to make their own muscles grow.

If you have been lifting for half a decade and no one can tell, you didn’t do it right.

150lbs at 6’3" is anorexic. I have a friend that tall at 180lbs and he looks like a flag pole.

But the best measurement tool of alllll time, the BMI calculator, tells him he is in the normal weight range! God I fucking hate BMI as a measurement of healthiness.

eating at about 2600 cals per day,
Well there’s your problem.
Why’s that? Shouldn’t you eat at 18xyour bodyweight for a bulk?
Eat until you grow. Everyone is different. Some will require more food, others will require less. Your lifts tell me you are very, very far from stalling out any program, even one as unbalanced as Starting Strength. If I were you I would contact Mr. Colucci (an author here who posts often in the beginners section). He will point you in the right direction with regards to diet and workout plan, and the information he will give you will save you a lot of time and frustration.

Start light, progress every workout, and eat a lot.
