I just had more labs drawn 2 days ago. My ferritin is 222, hematocrit 58.5% and hemoglobin 18.9. September 2022 my hematocrit was 54.3% and hemoglobin 18.9.
My blood pressure is 110/60.
My high hematocrit is the result of dehydration caused by reducing my iron dosage several weeks ago. Whenever I reduce iron supplements, I get dehydrated via excessive urination.
My energy levels since restoring my normal iron dosage a few days ago is very high! I feel amazing and one thing I’ve notice, I don’t get cold easily!
I’m crushing my gym workouts!!
I’m like a magnet for young beautiful women. The young women can’t stop putting themselves in my spaces, in the gym, and at work. I met a 25 year old women, super hot, beautiful person on the inside, 27 year age gap, who for weeks put herself in my spaces in the gym who is now training me.
My endocrinologist’s take on my high hematocrit->
I can’t tell you at what level of hematocrit is too high for you, but this is pretty high.
Be careful gauging success just about how you feel. History is full of stories of failures based on people who judge success based on feeling.
I’d recommend at least monthly monitoring of your levels at least for the Hgb/Hct.
