does anyone else see a direct link between bodybuilding and diablo 2? seriously when i first started getting into lifting i was like wow this is the same thing.
like get a good set up on what to do so you arent running around like a newb, invest hours of your life, and youll get good.
i figure at least with bodybuilding i have something to show for it, and it can get me laid…by chicks that arent playing diablo.
I want to play, I fucking hate how all the game developers always release the info that they are making a game like YEARS before its going to be available…especially Darkfall Online - I’ve been wanting that game to come out for a ridiculous amount of time!

You mean like Duke Nuken (Is Taking) Forever?
Also, wasn’t Prey just never released by 3d Realms, or was it Epic?
Are you willing to throw money into parts and build it yourself? Check out that iBuyPower site I told debraD about. Anandtech reviewed them and said the labor was like under $200 for setting up a badass system.
I’m sort of tired of doing myself these days…
I could go either way. I’ve always built my own systems in the past and I enjoy doing that, but it’s been a few years since I’ve done so. Part of me doesn’t want to deal with it and wouldn’t mind having someone else set it up. I was really interested in that other thread for that reason and I’m going to check out that site for sure.

Yeah, I wouldn’t even know what to buy anymore. My system is still a Pentium 4 2Ghz running at 2.5, 2Gb RAM, and a GeForce 6600. That’s like a dinosaur now.

that game is seriously crack, keep it away.
Couldn’t have said it better myself, playing hours a day straight for months. The day I deleted my account was one of the best/worst experiences of my life. I also started lifting that month almost 4 years ago, shit does time fly. Curling a 50 pound barbell in my room for a few months until I learned I had other muscles. Good times.

Ha! My current gaming system is almost identical to that.
I’m messing around with that iBuyPower system builder right now. It’s pretty nice, but even that is confusing me with all the options. Like you said, I have no idea what to buy anymore.

Has anyone heard anything about what the system reqs might be? I’m wondering if I’m going to be able to use my existing gaming rig for that and Starcraft 2 or if it’s time to plan the new box.
D III is the ultimate reason why I’m building a new computer, however, I don’t think it’s going to be anything your computer can’t handle.
My current rig is over 3 years old though. While I’m sure it will run, whether or not it will run well or at a good resolution is a different story.
Vader I wouldnt worry too much about it. Of course the specifics aren’t out yet but Blizzard has mentioned openly that they plan to make the game playable for as many computers as possible. This is why they haven’t pulled out all of the stops with the graphics (something that people have actually been complaining about).

The barbarian is what motivated me to start lifting, for the most part.

I just dug out D2 about a week ago, if anyone still plays get at me *krayzied7
What char are you starting? D2 original, or LOD? I kind of stopped playing, but I have accounts full of mules ON USWEST LOD, all rares and uniques…I need to get rid of them or they will disappear. Or if you need a rush PM me.

Good bump. Anyone know of any news regarding the graphics? Has Blizzard come to its senses, yet?
I don’t know. But I do know that they haven’t updated the Zerg section of starcraft2.com for a very long time. Either they are just teasing, or they are taking their sweet ass time, or whatever.
I am actually DREADING the release of SC2, I am afraid that it will be just like when I picked up starcraft for the first time. I don’t think I got more than 3-4 hours of sunlight in the first 6 months or so…

Or when I played d2.
legit pfathom, perfect nw, either 13x bmanas or legit 18+/15+ scs, all gcs were 30-40lifers, perm fletch, perfect upd vipermagi, etc.
I absolutely annihilated pvp on my blizzer and bone nec. It wasn’t even fair.
