Selling hcg big business with these pop up so called TRT clinics. ![]()
2005 called they want their TRT protocols back lol
Are you on TRT at the moment?
If yes, for how long and how are your adrenals keeping up?
Thank you!
edit: same question goes for whoever is on TRT for long enough.
I have not had HCG in my protocol at all except for the trial run I did.
Are you primary Hypogonadism or Secondary?
What would you recommend then?
Well I def donāt think you should not take HCG cause some guy on a forum says it gives you side effects.
I donāt know why anyone would not take HCG, unless they were primary. Even then there is some reason to use it, although I would opt for peptides in this scenario.
HPTA function is this extremely complex thing that we donāt understand that well, why on earth would you not attempt to offset the suppression from exogenous testosterone?
People that say HCG converts to all this estradiol and it gives them side effects are full of shit hypochondriacs.
But HCG costs money, so people will think of every excuse as to why they donāt need it, then try to say we are scammers because we wonāt prescribe T without it, when in fact the opposite is true. We donāt prescribe T without HCG because it doesnāt make any sense to do so. None. Not one good reason, besides the exception of primary hypogonadism.
9x out 10. People are secondary. 7x out of 10 people who say they are primary, or think they are primary, are actually secondary induced primary, aka their balls can still work.
There is not enough time in the day to go over all the reasons why someone should take HCG with exogenous testosterone, and just 1 reason not to.
Like I said I have went through all this with newbs before on other forums, one in particular the guy was a mod. We would come chime in on every post āyou donāt need HCG, its just a scam so they can make moneyā
This went on for about 2.5 years.
If you go talk to the poster now, his TRT has never been better. He has more sensitivity when he ejaculates that he did not realize he was missing and he feels better overall. He doesnāt even go through us, but now he recommends us, to everyone. Because he knows we are not gonna put you on a shitty program just to make money.
He swears by HCG now.
So time will always catch up with them, one day they will get it all figured out and then be like āholy shit, that Todd guy was right and he wasnāt pulling my legā
But who knows how long that will take, but the day will come. That I can promise you, once the adrenals finally shut down.
@increasemyt
What is the TRT place that you work for called?
IncreaseMyT ![]()
PS our clients donāt have SHBG problems like all the guys here taking T without HCG
Remember you have secondary hypogonadism, when you take testosterone you are inducing primary hypogonadism, but you can prevent that with HCG.
Iāll agree that the reasonable assumption should probably be secondary unless one actually took steps to determine this before starting TRT. I also am a huge advocate for determining this beforehand for sure as well. It seems to make things less complicated when you can know the root cause of low T before trying to treat, at least in my opinion.
My so called doctor did not look for LH or FSH before putting me into his shitty TRT protocol.
I went off TRT and waited 4 weeks to see what my LH will be but could not stand it much longer as i became lethargic , had low blood pressure and dizziness due to low T and E2.
Took blood test after 4 weeks off TRT and my results were :
LH 3.6 mIU/mL (1.7-8.6 mIU/mL)
FSH 1.0 mIU/mL (1.5-12.4 mIU/mL )
TT 2.41 ng/mL (2.49-8.36 ng/mL)
Not sure what these numbers suggest but I restarted my protocol regardless of the results.
I created this account after finding this thread. I have been on TRT without hcg for about 5 years now and currently have all the symptoms of adrenal insufficiency that I have been dealing with for about a year now. The symptoms crept up on me so slowly that I never even considered that a lack of hcg caused my adrenals to shut down.
My symptoms include but not limited to general fatigue, reactive hypoglycemia ( 2 hours after eating I get serious brain fog and the occasional shakes, this points to low cortisol), exercise intolerance ( after exercising even mildly I feel like death through the next day). These symptoms seemingly came out of nowhere and slowly got worse and worse.
I decided to get various testing done and sure enough dhea s is low, I was considering getting a salivary cortisol test done but it is glaringly obvious to me that my cortisol is extremely low even without bloodwork. I have been researching the hell out of adrenal insufficiency trying to figure out what is causing this. When I found this thread I acquired some hcg since getting it prescribed will be extremely difficult if not impossible.
I plan on running 500iu 3 days per week for the next couple of months and re do the blood tests to see where Iām at.
My first 500iu shot was yesterday so I have not noticed anything yet but I will return to this thread to update everyone with how it goes.
To all those guys out there who are on TRT without hcg I would strongly reconsider. Your adrenals will shut down very very slowly and it wonāt be fun.
@increasemyt You mentioned in an earlier post in this thread that when attempting to restart the adrenals with hcg one should take an adrenal concentrate to make sure all the raw materials to manufacture the hormones are in your system. What exactly is an adrenal concentrate and where can I get some?
Awesome man! I am really glad you found our information sharing valuable, that is our #1 goal overall, education.
I think it just goes by āraw adrenal concentrateā from most supplement places. We used to have a link with a supplement company that was chosen by Dr Melissa Josselson, ND (or Dr J). She is the best of the best she went to Pitt they are known for this stuff.
We havenāt worked with her in a while, it was hard to get people to buy into to what we were doing. We managed the TRT and she would manage the adrenal program, this is where I learned that you will feel worse before feeling better.
It might be worth reaching out to her, you can tell her Todd from IMT said to contact her.
If you want to go on your own without a adrenal specialist all good, just me personally I cannot recommend specific brands because I honestly donāt know it well enough to. It is her adrenal program.
Hope this helps.
Iāll look into it. Thanks man. When I read through this thread and the studies you linked I could not believe that I had never came across this information before
I tried supplementing with pregnenolone, DHEA, and even progesterone cream to try to increase my adrenal activity. They did absolutely nothing
What are th best labs to run to check your adrenal function ?
Is pregnenolone the same thing as Pregnyl?
Is it the same has HCG?
If not what is the difference?
The best⦠Dutch Test
If youāre in the US you can get prescribed HCG really easy. Like one phone call easy.
