Funny this should pop up… I just started watching this on Netflix instant last week, been watching 1-2 episodes a night. It’s fucking great. Season 1/Episode 6 tonight. I love that there are 4 more seasons ahead of me.

Every friend that I’ve told about Dexter gets immediately hooked. I have the first 3 seasons on DVD, seen every episode of every season. Can’t wait for season 6 to drop!

Well wait, I just watched episode 8 where it seemed to give it away. Is it not what it appears?
I just finished season 1 and am 2 episodes deep into season 2. I personally thought the Ice truck killer was pretty easy to figure out [called it 3 episodes before we found out],and that overall the season was fairly predictable but am told that the show gets considerably less predictable as it goes. I will say that even though I “called it”, I was still hooked the whole way. The writing for this show is as good as it gets, and the show overall is really well done.

The ice truck killer is the doctor that Morgan is dating. It needs to be someone white, and needs to be someone with obvious knife skills. Also, there is no real reason to include a minor role of the doctor… what’s the point, if he’s not the ice truck killer?
This is how it will go down: the ice truck killer/doctor will put a menthol cough drop in his mouth, and then Morgan will be like “Ooooh shit”.

Dexter is my absolute favorite show!
And ashy is right, season 4 is incredible! don’t get me wrong, season 5 is good too, but season 4, was just . . . wow.
