DAMMIT!! Those are the only bars I buy now that I can’t find grow bars anywhere.
Why would you expect U-Turn bars to be any different?
I agree that such a large company isn’t likely going to put themselves at risk for false label claims. There are serious legal repercussions. This is not to say that they haven’t done it though, just that it is unlikely.
Secondly, if you’re serious about your nutrition WHY THE HELL ARE YOU EATING THIS CRAP ANYWAY?!? Does this go with the Protein + SIMPLE CARB + Fat meal?
Old threads are totally sweet.
Are both Uturn and Joyride made by the same company? They’re just so damn good.
I’ve had one or two detour bars. They’re amazingly good, and I just accept the fact they’re not ‘healthy’. But if it’s a detour or a snickers… detour’s obviously the better choice.
I just consider it a ‘treat’ (not a fullblown cheat, its only 300cals, but definitely not clean eating).
Obviously a lot of companies are greedy and unscrupulous. I’m glad Biotest isn’t, all of their products seem to be top-of-the-line. I just wish they weren’t so damned EXPENSIVE… on a high schooler salary, affording much of anything they sell is tough. I buy ZMA and Power Drive from them (although I’ve yet to use the PD), but can’t afford Surge or Grow!.
Eat some goddam chicken or steak, candy bars are for kids.
I want my poontang bars.
Filled with partially hydrogenated oils and soy protein: I highly doubt that any of this contributes to your health.
That’s why the Biotest Bar went out of business. Label discrepencies.
Claims:
Protein: 30g
Fat: 5g
Carbs: 32g
Sugars: 20g
lab Results:
Protein: 50g
Fat: 1g
Carbs 12g
Sugars: 1g
Those bastards!
krystian,
Where’d you get those numbers from? If what you’re saying is right, that would be awesome! Biotest should relabel their protein bars with the real macro breakdown and I doubt that it won’t sell.
It was a joke

Hello Jeff T. This is reality, smacking you right in the face.
Maybe Jeff is Paul’s brother.
hahahahaha!! Well, they both need a smack in the face then.
Who cares if the label is off.
The bar isn’t good for you regardless.
The claims on the label as they arn’t sutible for fat loss anyway.
Trioplex bars are much better as they are a whole grain bar and they contian 6-8grams of fiber per bar. 30 protein, 8-10 fat and 9-12 net carbs.
The carbs that are in the bar are low glycemic ones. The only shitty part that I can see is that contain soy.
I think Biotest should make something similar to the Trioplex bar with better protein smart fats and little to no glycerine.
JA
I’m going to see what the makers of Detour bars have to say about this. They should have a chance to defend themselves.
Ha ha ha.
