You gotta be pound-for-pound the strongest dude here. Insane numbers. How wide is your regular grip on the bench? Your close grip looks wider than my normal grip.

Also, what size of SBD knee sleeves did you get?[/quote]
I don’t wear SBD sleeves, those are the Titan neoprene sleeves and they’re a size large

My competition grip is pinky on the rings. My close grip is a thumb length away from smooth of the barbell.

Guessing powerlifting bars are set wider than commercial gym bars. My normal grip is thumbs length from smooth and that puts me about an inch from pinky on the rings. Again, insane numbers bud.

I noticed that you have the bar out closer to your fingertips when you squat. Have you always done it like that? I started putting more emphasis on getting it into a similar position and it feels a lot better.

It’s stems from a lack of shoulder mobility. It happened once I switched from high bar to low bar.
I’m actually planning on working my hand position after my meet to fix it.
Exercise Protocol
Squat + 80lbs of Chains
495x2
545x2
565x1
2 Board Bench:
315x2
365x2
Chest Supported Rows:
5 sets of 10, @ 7-8 RPE
Last session before the meet.
Squat:
Attempt 1: 600lbs - Good lift
Attempt 2: 635lbs - Good Lift
Attempt 3: 650lbs - Redlighted on Depth
Bench Press:
Attempt 1: 385lbs - Good Lift
Attempt 2: 405lbs - Good Lift
Attempt 2: Passed
Deadlift:
Attempt 1: 635lbs
Attempt 2: 685lbs
Attempt 3: 715lbs - Redlighted; Gassed.
I totaled 1725lbs
I weighed in at 194.4lbs Friday morning, and got back up to 205lbs relatively easy in 11 hours.
Here’s the video of 3rd attempt Squat:
I passed on my 3rd Bench Press attempt because I re-strained my pec after my first attempt. I wasn’t going to total at least in the 1700+ range if I didn’t go for at least 405lbs.
I need to figure how to get an extra gear in the tank for my 3rd attempt Deadlift. It’s the 3rd meet in a row where I miss 700+ because of the 8+ hour long meets.
After the results get updated onto PLWatch, I’ll be officially in the top 10 for the 198’s.
That’s pretty exciting.
My plan is take the the week off to heal up. I fracture my big toe on my right foot during meet prep when I dropped a 100lb plate on it, I just got a cast for it. I’ll let my strain heal and I’ll slowly get back into the swing of things.
I’m done competing for the year, and my next meet will probably be Raw Unity.
Awesome work brother!
that 650 looked deep enough to me!

I thought so too, but the 2/3 of the opinions that mattered thought otherwise.
I say 3rd hit depth as well
Awesome.
