What is lunatic left? what position (an actual position/not made up by Ann Coulter) is supported by this lunatic left that is entirely unsupported by the american public?

I think its the Dem’s race to lose. And I’m not sure on any issue but the war Lamont is loony, or really, that much different from Lieberman. He wouldn’t be the most liberal member of Congress.
I think that the real appearance problem is a whole bunch of faceless internet kooks deciding things for the Democrats. It may be more nuanced than that, but it doesn’t look like something that would happen in a strong, unified party.
The thing is - as bad as the republicans have been of late, they still offer more of a message than the left.
The right will gain seats this November - not because they are appeasers to the middle, but because they have what the left cannot seem to get right: A message.

It’s pretty easy when the message is all based on fear. If they keep people afraid then they stand to keep power from the dems. Not only that they pander to those whom are too unintelligent to think for themselves in which case they will always carry the majority. Lets see the only differences in the Reps message compared to the Dems is:
no abortion
no federally funded stem cell research grants
no social welfare
fags can’t get married
Too bad there aren’t more republicans like Sen. McCain.

I’m pretty sure McCain is against abortion, gay marriage, and most social welfare.

Well, I was making a point that the only thing that most republicans care about and confuse real issues with is the list I posted above.
I don’t think it is wrong to disagree with abortion, etc. I think it is wrong that it is the only things republicans spout off about (in which case McCain is an exception from what I have seen). They have no real messages that aren’t based on fear.
My bet is that CT will still have a Senator Lieberman.
The primary means dick - other than the fringe whacked left did a wonderful job of proving thay if you disagree with them - even if it is a single issue - you will pay.

You are the lunatic left.
I( have read enough of your posts to know you are far outside mainstream opinion. The fact that you think the Democrats are right of center tells me where you are.
If the Dems go to where you are they will lose al the momentum they have.

As are millions of registered Democrats.
Those are not party line issues for many Democrats around the country.
There are millions of labor oriented Democrats that are against these items.

evidence please. what position do I have that puts me out of the mainstream? And I said dems are the center (since for the most part their positions are supported by the public, duh.). And the dems with momentum are the ones going left (mainstream) not center.

She’s not insane, probably incredibly smart. Pretending/Distorting/lying/and just plain making things up can make a wingnut author lots of money, especially with the way right wing orgs buy them up and send them as gifts to their members. Plus she can play up her looks, cause apparently looking half horse half man is appealing to a great many (on both sides of the aisle).
