Demigod before 35 (Aldebaran)

That transformation in the other thread is absolutely insane mate. Seriously impressed with what you’ve done there. That’s something to definitely sell your business on.

Agreed. Definitely need to include that transformation in your business somewhere visible

I’m humbled man. We often forget where we come from. In the left picture I had already been lifting for 3 years though (we can see the glimpse of a tricep under the fat ahahah) I was just eating way too much

Yeah man I’d definitely be selling that as the transformation.

It’s not a 12 week scam. It’s years of fruits and labour which is authentic.

Great work man. I’m surprised I’ve never seen you highlight it before

Yeah thank you, we see ourselves all the time, we forget easily where we come from and the progress we make. I’ve received some pictures of me last year and indeed I didn’t look as good outside of the gym. But no wonder considering my lifestyle wans’t super healthy at the time.

I feel and look bigger and healthier, I really like it. Weirdly enough, I put less pressure on myself, and try to push myself a little less hard and focus on having fun.

Don’t get me wrong, I have precise numbers in my head for next week’s testing. In any case, I will attempt 124 bench, 155 squat, 210 deadlift.

Yesterday I skipped upper body dynamic to let my chest recover. Just did some external rotation and Zottman curls + cardio:

Assault Bike 15 secs all out/ 45 secs rest x 5
20 min steady state

Wow a true HIIT really hits. The first interval already got my HR to the sky ahah. But I managed to produce around the same energy each bout. In total 52 cals on these 75 secs of hell lol

@Voxel my man who’s so knowledgeable, do you recall the story of a doc like 80-100 years ago who was the first to use exercise with an injured veteran (knee I think) to make him recover better which he indeed did compared to his pairs who just rested (I think the doc had a French sounding name, probably Canadian) and thus exercise for long term physical therapy and health was born

I might have read it in a T-nation article a few days ago but I’m reading so many stuffs these days as I’m writing articles…

edit: I found it lol wasn’t so hard after all ahahah…

Bob Hoffman?

It was Thomas Delorme!

Bob Hoffman was an American WW1 veteran of some reknown. Very interesting guy, if you wanted to read up on him.

No, I mean attaching ahaha… at the end of sentences. @kolyma does it too, but I haven’t seen any of the other posters do this

I don’t know, it’s probably some kind of mimetic langage thingy from comics or when we used older chatting services like MSN lol

Someone in here also said it’s perhaps an habit of langage to indicate/mask unneasiness or lack of confidence and such

That’s what I’ve noticed, and from posts @kolyma makes.

19/03 - Dynamic Lower

A. Squat 1 x 150, 1 x 154

B1. Squat pure eccentric 4-5 secs 3 x 160 kgs

B2. Box jumps 3 x 5

B3. Squat jump 3 x 5 with 30 kgs

B4. Band assisted vertical jumps 3 x 5

C1. Glute ham raise 3 x 15-20

C2. Abs wheel 3 x 10

Okay so… Was tired and all I wanted a win today. Decided to do a 1 RM on the squat and keep tuesday for the deadlift only. Yeah this was very stupid, having done a good morning 1 RM 2 days prior, + weighted running + HIIT yesterday…

Anyway a PR is still a PR. Upper back/core almost failed! I know where my problem is. First set at 150 was terrible, jumping around and screaming even during the eccentric and all. I guess trying to be less "scared " of the lift was taken to a level too high here ahah

154 was way better (appart from the upper back). Tried to braced as much as possible. I feel my core is stronger and the abs work is paying off though. I was bending a bit forward during the warm-ups as well but this is probably because the several last squats I did were in my Chucks, without heels so my brain was confused… Next squat cycle I’ll do it in Chucks

Also i was so tense and all that during the 154 I hurt my bad elbow lol… In high bar??? How weak am I!

The 160 eccentrics felt nice though. But tonight really tired… Gonna rest HARD

Also we know hit the ceiling with our heads, so for sure we gained power

Really fine right now, enjoying life. My studies are on hold because of lack of internship, so I just spend my days between writing articles, going to the gym and coaching clients, working at McDonald’s only on the weekend. Some progress as I’ve come back to the gym 4 weeks ago. Feels good man…

What about you, I read you… gasp started running!
