Was talking with the master, and it’s true how I used to be a bit excessive. Fear of losing strength or mass but experience tells us otherwise. i think I’m in a good spot mentally and physically to push hard af on the jacked 31 program next week and do it as much as I can. Iso work and somle of the stuff I did at school made me realize some weakness (most blatant is abs, “gainage”) but I have less psychological fear and restraint, and I think I’m not in a mentality of wanting to do more because I want to, which would be counterproductive.
So I’m aiming for a 170 kgs squat and 125 bench in 6 months. Let’s go.

We squatted or benched down, hold position, then we had spotters help us.
Did a easy 115 bench with no warmp-up after a max DL two days ago. Squat no idea, last time a double at 150, high bar
I think those number are deff achievable if you make those lifts a priority.

A. Squat 1 x 8 with 130, 1 x 5 with 140, 1 x 2 with 150 kgs
B. Paused bench 1 x 8 with 90 kgs, 1 x 5 with 100 kgs, 1 x 3 with 105 kgs
C. Deadlift, 1 x 11 with 140 kgs, 1 x 5 with 160 kgs
So, already tired from the max dead and bench 3 days ago but yeah…
Squats I thought I was using 120 but I miscounted and I used 130. Really tough. Squat was balls to the walls. Never ever did 140 x 5 so yeah. Big pr. Tried to improve form. It was better, but super slow and tough. So yeah 150, great!
Bench I was conservative. I had margin and it moved well!
Deads, didn’t have the time to do a 3 reppers but I was pretty tired. Good form, but apparently I have too narrow a grip and my neck was a bit down, not using enough traps?

Do you deadlift with knee sleeves? That always messed me up. I snag on them.
Slide the knee sleeves down over your shins and they won’t look like a murder scene
I don’t always but I just squatted before so yeah. Even without it’s the same.
