Demigod before 35 (Aldebaran)

Naaah mate I have the PS4 I don’t play enough to justify a 500€ system

Gotcha. So you don’t need the new system to play the new games?

They know many, many people don’t have the new so they make most new games compatible on both ahah

This makes me want to run reactive pump again. Really great programme, I really grew on it.

17/11 - Back

A/ Landmine Row
4 x 8 with 40 kgs

B/ Smith-Machine Row
4 x 6 with 90 kgs

Explosive reps, it was tough to remain explosive af!

C/ Pullover
4 x 12 with 36 kgs

D/ DB Shrugs 3 secs pause at top
3 x 12 with 40 kgs

E/ Chain Deadlift
Ramp to 160 + 50 while trying to remain explosive
140 + 50 x 9

Felt good and explosive… then the day after my left lower back and ass was super sore, even painful, like the begining of a sciatica? No movement restriction, just annoyance. I’ll do my abs work diligently from now on. Today it’s gone almsot entirely. I’ll upload a few videos of these sets, maybe you can see something wrong

4 x 12 with 100/95kgs + 10

The neutral grip felt good, but also weaker - it’s quite wide

B/ Machine Dips + Band Pull-Appart
4 x 8 + 12

Tried 160 kgs on the machien, was a bit hungry hehe only managed 5 reps then lowered down the weight

C/ Machine Fly
2 x 10 + forced iso with partner

D/ Bent-Over Raises
3 x 20 with 5 kgs (rear delts were already trashed!)

E/ Spidercrawl
3 x 45s

With the black band, it was tough as hell!

Good session ahah all this rear delt work was good for my shoulders

21/11 - Legs

A/ Standing Leg Curl
4 x 8 with 55 kgs + 25 partials (last set)
The others leg curls were taken. I don’t really like this one, but my hammies were still on fire even though I didn’t go that hard on the first sets

B/ Chain Squat
6 x 90 kgs
6 x 90 kgs + 18
6 x 90 kgs + 36
6 x 90 kgs + 52
6 x 100kgs + 52

Always a pleasure

C/ Leg Press
5+5+5+5+5 increasing the weight each time without rest

Tough as balls

D/ DB RDL
2 x 15 with 50 kgs

VFelt easier than last week hehe

Forgot the leg extension because I’m an idiot so I’ll probably do them after my deadlifts

F/ Standing Calves
3 x 10 + 10s iso top + 10 + 10s iso top

Wasn’t motivated at all and had a headache during the session, but I still did the work and I wasn’t weaker, so i’m ok with that!

22/11 - Chest/Shoulders

A/ Decline DB Bench
8 x 38kgs
8 x 40 kgs
8 x 42kgs
8 x 44kgs

Also felt a bit easier than last week, and added a pause at the top

B/ Speed Chain Bench
5 x 5 with 70 + 40 kgs

Hmmm… Tough to get the technique PERFECT. I’ve found I’m stronger with just the right amount of sink, which is hard to replicate every time while keeping tension for now

C/ Inline Bench
3 x 6 with 80 kgs

Also easier than last week I’m happy hehe but still tough

D/ Push-up Ladder
2 x max

E/ Seated Lateral Raise
3 x 10 with 14 kgs

Felt like a tank

F/ High-Incline Speed Smith
5 x 5 with 70kgs

G/ Rear Delts Destroyer Set
60 + 30 +10 with 14, 10 and 7 kgs

It was even harder than last week and my shoulders were trashed ahahah

Damn I had not seen that reply! I’m 6’1.

I have been abandoning the site ugh. Right now I’m focusing on creating content, (lots of reels, writing for Breaking Muscle and I just started YouTube… + the coaching and stuff)

All my focus is on that and sports and living life the way I want to. It’s a freaking lot of work but heh you gotta work for your dreams.

If anyone wants to check my first video (it’s in French…). I have no equipment right now, filming with my phone and an old ring light. I’ll invest gradually and keep improving and produce stuff. Soon I’m going all in on this, 5 vdeos per week on YT and as much on IG (right 7 per week)

Training-wise, I don’t sweat thing, almost finished Reactive Pump Hypertrophy. It’s a blast! My deadlift has been progressing like crazy!!

Here’s 250. I wanted to try for 260 but I tore my hamstring saturday… Too much fatigue, too much excess training (with influencers and shits, I just love training but it caught me).

Nothing too serious but that’s always annoying. Gonna do biking, and light leg curls and stuff to pump blood in the leg

Here’s my current shape from yesterday, the day after having been attacked by a freaking dog and eaten :sob:

@TrainForPain what do think I could do next? Program X and RPH were hood to me. I glanced briefly at Program Y but it looks exactly the same. I have Creeping Death 2 and Gamma Bomb. Any thought?

Or maybe something from someone else that has a powerbuilding vibe? I’ll start the dieting down process in a month. Thanks a lot

Welcome back!

Program Y is exactly the same as X, which can be good or bad depending where you’re at.

I didn’t love Creeping Death 2 - the days got crazy long for me with the PPL split. I appear to be in a minority on his Facebook group; most folks did like it.

Gamma Bomb receives wide acclaim as a fan favorite, and I personally really liked it. It’s straight bodybuilding and just really well-organized. This would probably be my choice for you if you liked X and reactive pump (which is program 9 - muscular demolition, for the trivia lovers out there).

I’ve been screwing around with some of the higher frequency stuff lately, but am just not holding up well to it on top of work, cardio, sports, etc. That doesn’t really impact either of the ones you were looking at; I just needed to make this about me.

I think I’ll go with that one yeah. No no that’s relevant. I also have many activities and a banged up body so too much training is meh :joy:

Damn, thank you!! I have much to improve, and lots of gear to buy, but that doesn’t stop me from going in! Soon My time will be mostly devoted to this and reels

Don’t buy any gear man. Just concentrate on the content

I’ve only ever used my iPhone

I really appreciate the advice mate

Yeah I use my phone as well, but I was thinking about a wireless mic, and a couple of lights and tripods

list out the detailed items you need. Maybe someone will gift them to you. Also post your list on your IG. Some people are generous.

Many of these you can get cheap from telesin or Ulanzi (companies that make cheap accessories).

I just got a GoPro mini and Max to attempt to be creative but I haven’t done much so far.

I recommend Danny Black on YouTube for good camera and accessory advice.

Yeaaah I would feel bad asking for stuff.

Best advice I can give, same @ChongLordUno would give is to simply do stuff. Provide value. You will get better over time. And if you provide good things, there will always be someone interested
