What is your plan, if you don’t mind my asking?

More videos, better quality (I have invested), more social media following, starting the YouTube, more IRL athletes, more online athletes

All of these things are slowly creeping up

Have the videos/social media brought any income?

I personally care less about current earnings than about characteristics like ambition, financial prudence and to a lesser extent, how the rest of his family treats money/their lifestyle. Earnings are a signal for those attributes in my books.

The caveat is that I come from an extremely privileged family so there’s no pressure whatsoever to have a husband for financial stability, even if I am personally down on my luck.

It was/is the same for my mum. She actually got more mad at my dad AFTER his company starting taking off bc she felt like he was too complacent. He also made some not so smart financial decisions that set us back quite a bit, but were still better off than before his company took off

Surprisingly so, even more surpsrisingly so, some through Tiktok lol!

Some people came up to me through mouth-to-ear, but the most came to me because of my articles and videos lol

And TBH I enjoy doing them a lot. It wasn’t my plan at all at first. But people like them. People I don’t know at all come up to me and thank me, that’s nice. I feel useful you know

I come from a very poor family. Raised by my single mom, who has a peculiar definition of happiness. Well she doesn’t care about money or belongings at all.

8/10 - Afternoon cardio

Wall-Ball 9kgs
KB Swings 20kgs
Run

45s ON/15s OFF x 10 rounds

Was way harder than we thought lolz, but felt good. Then 5 x 20 Cable Face-pull to cool down

Evening: Dynamic Day Lower

I know, aeroby and strength training in the same day is not great, but I switched stuff around and trained these two sessions with two friends

A/ Speed Squat 8 x 3 with 100 kgs

Moved fast, but I’m sure my left shoulder pain that has been lingering for 2-3 weeks has been caused by the shift to low bar…

B/ Deficit Deadlift, hands wider at each set 3 x 5 with 150 kgs

Both on the squats and deads I had my knees caving in a bit from the starting position, or when trying to go as explosive as I could

C/ Seated Leg Curl 3 x 10 + 10 partials on the last one with 55 kgs

Feels good but the pad hurts the shins…

D/ Leg Press 3 x 12 with 130 kgs

This specific machine sucks and I find I’m quite weak with this session when I arrive at the leg press

E/ Snatch-Grip Back Extension 3 x 12 with 40 kgs

Slow and controlled, these feel awesome…

Yesterday, some very easy cardio. Today my legs are still TRASHED lol

You have just wrecked the college theory, sir. Bravo

Thank you, but i have to make it clear that i am absolutely the exception, not the rule here. I work in an elite sector of a specialized trade industry. Hard work and skill play into it, but I’m well aware that i was and am very lucky to be where I’m at today.

Making the decision you don’t want to make has historically always been to my benefit… believe me, I NEVER wanted to move to California; it served as a phenomenal stepping stone though.

There’s a reason why I’m going to school while making enough to provide an exorbitant lifestyle for my family.

I absolutely agree. When faced with two options, I choose what’s hardest (much to my wife’s chagrin). Sometimes it doesn’t pay off, but as a heuristic it’s hard to beat.

@Spock81 I never thought of my income as a point with women (which is good, because I was in the army when single!). I do consider it my responsibility to provide for my family. More than that, though, money and title are scoreboards for me in a competitive industry. I don’t necessarily think that’s right or healthy, but it is how my brain works.

This. And a woman won’t commit to a man who can’t provide.

Also, “older” women who have their shit together have told me they don’t usually care that much about a man’s finances. They experienced chaos, kids, whatever. They just want something easy and good.

Buuuuuuuut that’s what they say. In hindsight, they probably would feel a man that can’t provide enough is not really a man.

Well, I think like that at least

Maybe it’s just because I’ve only been with abusive drunks, but i honestly deep down do not care about a man’s ability to provide.

Damn, if he appreciated my quirks and texted me good morning, but was flat ass broke, I’d still be over the moon haha

But i can say with almost 100 percent certainly that I’m messed up and don’t speak for any other woman.

I still think you’re being hard on yourself though:p

I honestly can’t really speak to what a woman wants; I have a wife and daughter so I’m well aware I know nothing.
I only know how I feel, and it’s only based on me rather than any external pressure. I’d love for my wife to be rich, but I’d still work (I’d probably do something different, though).

Good morning @Spock81!

…I really hope that came off friendly and not creepy.

Dude you made me laugh out loud :joy:

Of course, everyone is different, but there are tendancies. Well, doing that was not enough for them

How am i to improve if I’m complacent?

I certainly don’t have the pretention of knowing what women want… Its just things that some told me in the past.

Even if I was a billionaire I would work, but I think would stick to mainly doing videos, social media stuff, and some slect athletes

Having the same issues, i’ve had to mess with the seat, moving it forward/back a bit between sets but I know it’s only gonna get worse as the weight gets heavier.

Looking great btw. Sorry if you’ve already posted this (I haven’t been following until now), but what height/weight are you at?

I have one like that where the pads is on the shins, not the quads… it’s horrible. At around 55 kgs it become really painful

I’m 6’1 and around 195 lbs so 185 cm/ 88 kgs but I intend to lose a few kilos

11/11 - Dynamic Upper

Wanted to change things a bit today

A/ Banded Chest Press 8 x 4 with 80 kgs

B/ Bench Press 3 x 110 kgs

C/ Lateral Raise 4 x 10 with 14 kgs

D/ Face-pull 4 x 15 with 40 kgs

E/ DB Press 2 x 12 with 30 kgs (tough as hell)

Nothing crazy today, just a quick easy session
