Being a bit pedantic (fussy) here but this is a timeline not a plan. Autumn will come quicker than you think. Have you given thought to the program or method of training ? Given you are still young you could probably just try hard and achieve this no problem, for me I would have to plan it out a little more.
Not yet! I know that I will start first by doing “The Unity” program then I don’t know, but something powerliftingy
Does beer and chocolate go together?
A dry stout and piece of high-percentage dark chocolate is otherworldly.
Swede’s “5th Set” program from eliteFTS has me intrigued if I get bored with bodybuilding style training.
This is a crime against humanity.

G2. Zercher Carry 3 x 30m with 90 kgs
Not a big fan of weighted pull-ups so this wasn’t the most enjoyable session.
Leg stuff was cool though, not hard on the RPE scale. The abs work was good as well
I’m really tired right now. I’m not gonna lie, I’m sore everywhere and my right shoulder took a beating (I think I slept on it…).
I think this is the most brutal program I’ve done. Recovery wise for sure.
But if I’m correct the next weeks will be easier. What is for sure is that the first 3 are the hardest in terms of volume and CNS fatigue. And the first week being the hardest.
I haven’t eaten much today, so tonight I’m doing a little cheat (chicken, fries and stewed apples + hazelnut ice cream afterwards) and I’m gonna go to bed early
So I talked to my boss and she’s agreed to fire me, and the other stuff I asked her also. So I guess being a good employee pays up in the end. I’m happy and I feel more free. It’s a big step for me and I’m eager to take it.
You’re a smart man @simo74.

Went out this weekend and didn’t slept much, but heh, I take responsibility. Today was very tired, I couldn’t sleep last night (every time I start school again or a new job, it does this ahah) and I went to school, then straight up to the gym, and I just ate a protein bar and straight to work til 10 PM
Very long day ahah!
Straight after the sessions, my whole quads were trashed. Instant DOMS with 2 exercises lol
I like it! I used to have trouble really recruiting my quads (forgot my knee sleeves today as well)
The nice thing with being so much sets is that I can try to work on my technique and figure things out. I bring in my stance even more, and it felt like I could use more power because then I had no valgus!
But 13 sets in 20 min with that weight were super touuuuugh! So the later sets were very, very hard. I have,n’t checked the video and my form yet. I think the answer is just slightly bringing the feet in, maybe not as much as today.
Anyway the banded Hacks are amazing. I went to the dark place on the last set and completely annihilated my legs. I was totally breathless and couldn’t walk ahah.
Two people tried the rest pause on it and they really suffered lol, but they gave a great effort. “But Aurel, I’m in so much pain” he was saying, his voice breaking from animal-like panic lol and I was like
“one more. One more!”
Tough session, but tomorrow I don’t work after the gym so Ill get a nice night of sleep
Didn’t expected it but felt happy that back at school, my schoolmates were complimenting me a lot on my progress
You are an excellent training partner…clearly.
Ahahah it’s okay, they did not went complete failure like I did. Probably a couple reps left in the tank.
They “worked out” for a couple yeaes, but they never “trained”. I don’t destroy them but sometimes yeah I make them go really hard, to be conscious of what they can do, of what is hard effort. And this on the leg stuff is certainly scary and painful.
I had this happen twice in the last couple months on the leg press ahah, my brain fizzled in panic mode like I was gonna die crushed for ten seconds
It’s definitely a different mentality between working out and training.
Average gym goers definitely don’t push the intensity hard enough to make real progress.
So are you still working there a few more days?
Yes, I’m doing my one-month notice, so my last day will be June the 31st ![]()
Happy to email you the super total program I ran a while back if you want.
Yes I’d gladly look at that and have your thoughts if you have the time to share
So I’m still alive, I have trained this week, but going from 12 hours of work to 60 was brutal, especially with a night of drinking out saturday. So I was very tired and all.
What I did was pretty much similar to last week, but with sets of 2 at 85% for the main lifts, and for the assistance some progression, either one more set, a little bit more weight or some intensity technique sprinkled in
Tuesday for bench I think I did 16-20 sets with 100 kgs (don’t remember)
For Deadlift 20 sets with 150
Some sets like here I was trying to be as powerful as I could, some just to be tight. I think next week I’ll just try to be as tight as I can on all sets
For the military press it was 14 sets with 65 kgs
For the pull-ups 16-18 sets with 22 kgs
The deadlift just destroyed my hands though, here is the result today. Next time, no hook grip, but straps
Went a bit out yesterday and the day before, but honestly I wasn’t enjoying it that much and all. Today feeling a bit disgusted with “junk food”, alcohol, people’s behaviour. Diet was horrible this week. I just want to focus on my purpose, relax, be on my own, do my walks, listen to stuff and stay in a calm environment. Otherwise I can’t fit it all in my days without feeling so tired
Wednesday starting the internship, I’m excited. I want to do as best as I can. I just hope I won’t be tired from the two previous days which are 8 AM - 10 PM and I have zero day off til july
Did you do the photoshoot yet?
In the end, no, not for a few months if I do. I’m keeping the money to pay for my expenses when in the process of getting f8ired.
I’m trying to focus on my long-term goals, not impulses and short-term rewards (even if the shoot will be useful for my website and all, it’s less important
I’ll resume the weight loss in a few days and will do shootq with my friends and their latest iphones in the summer ahah
Phone cameras these days are no joke! Even a cheap Chinese smartphone has professional quality tech
