Deloads for Type 3?

First, thanks for all the great articles and forum work.

I’m a type 3, I haven’t trained like one but plan to give it a try. I hate deload weeks, but when going to failure (plus drop sets and negatives) I get really beat up and run down by around week 6, even with low frequency. Would you say deloads are generally recommended for type 3, or will smart programming limit the need? Thanks.
